i5-7600k, MSI Z270 SLI Plus, using both GPU and integrated for monitors Posted: 02 May 2018 10:11 AM PDT Hey folks! I have the aforementioned MSI Z270 SLI Plus motherboard with i5-7600k, and in the BIOS I have it set to boot PEG, 512MB memory for integrated, and multi-monitor is set to enabled. However, when I boot to Windows, the monitor hooked to the DVI-D port is blank and undetected by Windows. I know the monitor works, as I moved it from my GPU's DVI port to test. I called MSI and was told it's not possible, despite the option staring me in the face. What am I missing? [link] [comments] |
Switching M.2 disk in dell laptop Posted: 02 May 2018 12:32 AM PDT Hello, I have a Dell Precision 5510 laptop. The M.2 disk which is currently mounted is a CX2-8B256. I am planing to buy a Samsung 860 EVO 1TB M.2 SSD Both harddisk have are called M.2 2280 disks, which I understand defines the shape/size? I am bit uncertain on form factor keys such as B, M, B+M. If you look at both disks they have different edge contact pins. Will I be able to to use the Samsung 860 EVO 1TB M.2 SSD instead of a CX2-8B256 in my Dell Precision 5510? Or how can I determine this? [link] [comments] |
