It was in absolute perfect condition except the little plastic screen over the camera lens was cracked. They sent me an email saying that the trade in conditions were not met and I will be charged $125. So do I get my phone back then? Nope. "Samsung will not be able to return your Trade-In device back to you." What a scam. So they keep my phone and charge me for it. Nice way to steal people's phones. Because I have no doubt they'll repair that little piece of plastic for about $2 and then turn around and sell it as a refurb. Not happy with Samsung right now. [link] [comments]  | ||

I tried Android with samsung note 3 liked it but still it wasn't as smooth as apple experience. Then came oneplus I almost fell in love with the unique sandstone back and pure Android at budget price. So I made the switch,that lasted long after that I got oneplus 2 and then oneplus 3. I faced some issues with oneplus 3 after the oreo update( Bluetooth connection stability in car and software lagginess sometimes) So I wanted to upgrade then s9 launched i couldn't resist the offers of exchange and cashback offers so i ordered the s9+. After using it for just over a month.I can say it's an overall improvement in whole samsung software experience. I actually prefer some samsung features than stock Android which seems dull now. I like the display,the form factor, stereo speakers (my favourite), water resistance and obviously headphone jack. But still I am worried about longevity of this device. I am worried that it might get slow with time like 6 months. And samsung might not keep pushing updates on time after sometime. So now I was considering upgrading to some other device. Currently no other Android phone in market excites me. One guy offered me a offer to exchange with his gold 64gb iphone 8 plus(7 months warranty left). Now please help me decide should I make the switch? Samsung phones has less resale value compared to apple phones in india. I see s8 used going for sale at 400-450usd but iphone 7 plus still goes for 650-750usd used. I want a reliable phone for couple years. Battery life,stereo speakers and good display are my priority. | How can I sync food and weight from MyFitnessPal to S Health? Posted: 19 Apr 2018 01:08 PM PDT Hola, I got my first Android device (S9+) a few weeks ago and I've recently set up my health apps. My Withings scale syncs to the Nokia Health Mate app which then syncs to MyFitnessPal. Health Mate apparently can't sync weight and body fat to S Health but MFP can sycn weight As far as I can tell, S Health and MFP should be synced together but nothing from MFP shows up on S Health. Not food nor weight and I can't seem to figure out why this is the case. Health Mate is also synced to Google Fit just to see if it works and it does show all of the history for weight but does not show body fat either. [link] [comments]  | ||

After downloading and installing everything seemed normal until the notification popped up again saying to install the update. So I did it again. After about 30 seconds after the reboot it popped up again. I've done it 5 times now and the notification won't go away. | Has Samsung Fixed BT Streaming Bitrate? Posted: 19 Apr 2018 11:41 AM PDT I'm on an S8+ and one of the most disappointing things with this phone is that unless the device you're streaming music to supports a particular codec (forget the name, sorry) the S8 will stream at a very low bitrate over bluetooth. Is there a function on the s8 that does the same? For example: in my calendar work is from 7am to 3:30 PM. My phone would go into vibrate mode at 7 and back to regular mode at 3:30pm [link] [comments]  |
