I really think this logo should represent Gamepad support

    Posted: 03 Jan 2018 10:57 PM PST

    Google Play Games

I don't know how many times I've downloaded a game with this icon on the store page assuming it means Gamepad support, maybe I'm just stupid.

A game that transforms your daily activity into a hero development in RPG world. Unreleased yet (what do you think)

    Posted: 04 Jan 2018 03:23 AM PST

As the title says. This game collects the daily amount of steps and moves them to the game. Then you can spend it in many ways, for example on a mission, open a guild chest or open a gate to fight with bosses. Ofc, we've included normal RPG things, such as PVP, dungeon, buying items/skills etc. So you can still do your normal things like a go to school/work/store, train, walk, dance, jump, etc. and keep making progress. Let us know what you think about this kind of gameplay :)

EDIT: Wow! I can not even imagine that so many people want to join :) I appreciate this and will definitely send you a message with a link to the beta version. If someone wants to join, write a comment below and before we start the beta, I will check this section and I also invite you.

[Dev] Uncivil War- A Card Battle Looking for Feedback!

    Posted: 04 Jan 2018 06:53 PM PST

    Hey everyone!

I've been working closely with Purple Pwny Studios on a new game, Uncivil War. The gameplay is a variation of the classic War card game set in a world inspired by 1860's Americana. You can find the game here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.ironhorsegames.war

    Game Features include:

    • Classic War card game mechanics...the game started as War (split a 52 card deck in half) with skills and we evolved over a couple of months of play-testing to the current game. Skills are as basic as Victory (a card earns points every time they win a battle) and as complex as Force (the card forces your opponent to play his highest card). Combat is turned based where the player and the enemy switch who goes first. The finer points of the battle come when you are trying to guess what's in the other player's hand and take out the cards that score the most points (the higher a card's suit/number, the more points...so an Ace has more points than a 3). PVE starts at 13 rounds each (one round involves the player either winning or losing a battle) and any cards that are won/lost are shuffled into the opponents deck or your deck accordingly (they are given back at the end of the game). We tried to get the right balance of skill/luck into the game while introducing more complex and powerful skills/rarities onto cards the longer that the game goes on!

    • Gorgeous pixel art...obviously biased here but I think that the art that was created by Lux from Purple Pwny is incredible (she also did ALL of the art on Idle Sword 2 if you've checked that game out before). The game has a faded sepia quality to it that makes it somber...which I'm a big fan of...definitely feel like it's visually really distinct from other Card Battlers that are out now.

    • Authentic soundtrack...I really like how this turned out as well. We were watching a lot of Ken Burns and listening to old timey music to find the right sound for the game.

    • CCG gameplay: 100's of unique character cards to collect & play...literally 100's. Each card can be leveled up as well to unlock more skills or to amplify existing skills. There is a LOT of interplay and deck designs that are pretty unique as well.

    • Compelling character backstories: from lowly gravediggers to decorated commanders...we did our best to build a lot of the stories into the card text themselves as opposed to trying to stop the game and tell the player the backstory of the world. As cards upgrade, you get more information about the character as well.

    • Intense campaign mode...probably too intense if current win rates are any indication but I would love to hear what folks think about the current challenge. We've been playtesting the game SO long as a team that we've lost a bit of perspective on how hard or easy a particular battle is. We're actively developing the game though so expect to see a lot of changes where features/gameplay/difficulty are concerned based on feedback that we get from players.

    • Globally ranked online PvP multiplayer card battles...mentioned this before but PVP is pretty great. You get to see a lot of unique deck strategies and the challenge ramps up considerably at the higher ranks.

We're currently in the process of smoothing out difficulty spikes in the game, creating an Achievements system to add in more guided play and adding in a Limited Time Event for PVP to get more competition into the game (PVP is where the game shines....at least that's what I like to think)!

I would love any and all kinds of feedback! Thanks and sorry for the super long POST!

The Play Store has an option to flag a game as a copycat or impersonation.

    Posted: 04 Jan 2018 10:14 PM PST

I could literally spend days doing that, the store has so much fake crap. I swear every time I enter the store ten more copycat/fake games are recommended to me. :(

Any info on the Nightcry game?

    Posted: 04 Jan 2018 08:58 AM PST

It was a highly anticipated horror game in style of Clock tower.

In 2016 it released for PC with mixed reviews.

However it started off as a mobile project and has since halted.

Tried visiting their website. Not updated. Tried forums, well let me just say if you are looking for game info don't go, if you wanna buy cheap Nike shoes go for it. Might get scammed tho.

I have never seen a game be left in such a sad state. Usually at least we get an announcement that game won't be released or something of a sort. This is just forgotten entirely.

Which is a shame, I really want a good survival horror similar to ClockTower or ResidentEvil (emulation not a chance since you cannot buy damn phone gamepads in my country and ordering online costs way more than a controller would)

How to follow friends on Google Play Games?

    Posted: 04 Jan 2018 02:11 AM PST

I appear in his leaderboards but he doesn't appear in mine, nor he does appear among my "followed players". We both follow each other on G+. Don't know what the problem might be. We have both selected "public profile and let people find you by email and/or ID". Was it so difficult to add a "search" panel in the app?!

    Need help.

Hi I've been fiddling with exagear and I would like to play my copy of Diablo LOD of destruction on my tablet. I have dragged the game files over to the exagear folder and when I load of the game I get a Diablo error, "Error 1: Unsupported graphics mode". If anyone has some trouble shooting ideas that would be great!

    Looking for genre/style name

    Posted: 04 Jan 2018 04:25 AM PST

A few years ago I used to play a game, which is now taken from the play store. It was a Nonogram-style game, but instead of the numbers being on the side of the field they were inside, like Minesweeper with pictures for solutions.
Are there any similar games currently on the store? :)
