Black Shark 5 USA Carriers Posted: 14 Jun 2022 05:45 PM PDT I've been looking into the Black Shark 5 and it seems to be an amazing gaming phone for the price. It's even available for purchase in the US. The issue is the limited bands available. I checked and it has the most crucial 4g bands and a few 5g bands, but I'm not sure if the carrier will accept it. I just don't want spend a large amount of money and find out the phone's unusable for me. Has anyone tried the phone in the US yet? If so did it work with your carrier? Which carrier do you use? Weird volume glitch with my Redmi Note 10 Pro when using headphones Posted: 14 Jun 2022 05:19 PM PDT So I was on the bus today and decided to use my new headphones to listen to an audiobook on my Note 10 Pro. I noticed about 10 minutes into listening that the volume on my phone seems to be going up and down automatically at random. I assumed at first that perhaps the volume button was being pressed down when the phone was in my pocket so I took it out but the volume kept going up and down sometimes to maximum which really hurt my ears. I witnessed the volume measurement graphic on my phone going up and down at random without me going near the volume control on the side of the phone. I'm worried about the heating issues of the latest flagship chips Posted: 14 Jun 2022 05:27 AM PDT I owned a Mi 11 before. Everything was excellent, especially the display and the camera, but the heating really turned me off. I did everything, like flashing custom ROMs and using kernel tweaker. The phone heats up really fast even on mild social media usage with mobile data. Playing games like Mobile Legends and COD Mobile even on the low-medium settings on WiFi is unbearable. I didn't experience any frame drops or thermal throttling on long hours of gaming but the phone was not comfortable to touch. I traded my Mi 11 with a ROG Phone 3 and I'm very happy and satisfied with the sustained performance of the Snapdragon 865 plus. No more overheating and I can't see the performance difference between the Snapdragon 865 vs 888. I am looking forward to upgrade next year. I heard the Snapdragon Gen 1 also heats a lot on non-gaming phones with subpar cooling system. Is Samsung to be blamed? If TSMC made it, we won't have this heating problem. Issue in Redmi Note 11 Pro+ Posted: 14 Jun 2022 02:44 PM PDT I am facing an issue with my Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G. I can't help but notice that when I take screenshots, the brightness gets super low in the screenshots. I don't know why this is happening but I have seen it happen everytime. This doesn't happen in screen recording though. I have also attached samples which show how dull the screenshots are. Volume and Battery Life issues on the Redmi Note 10 Pro (Arrow OS) Posted: 14 Jun 2022 06:44 AM PDT Hello There! I am currently on Arrow OS Version 11 on the Note 10 pro. When my volume is at Max it goes down by the three parts automatically and it's really annoying. Also my battery life is averaging around 13%/h when it used to be 10%/h. There are also some other bugs with the gallery app but these are the main concerns. Will appreciate all feedback. Thanks in advance! Redmi Note 7 Battery Problem Posted: 14 Jun 2022 10:15 AM PDT I have a Redmi Note 7 that wasn't charged for like 2 years. Now whenever I charge it, the notification light flashes for a minute and then it shows the icon of an empty battery being charged. It stays like that for around 2 minutes and then it reboots. The Redmi logo stays on the screen for a while and then it turns off and the empty battery is shown on the screen again. This keeps happening again and again until it completely dies and the notification light turns off. I disassembled the phone and used the multimeter to check if all the circuits are working, and everything was fine. The only thing that I noticed was that the battery was at 0v before putting the charger (The phone was dead at that moment), and after I plugged the charger and the notification light stopped blinking, I measured the voltage of the battery again and it was 3.75v. I'm not sure if it should reach this value gradually as it's charging towrads 100% or if it's normal to get this value at 1%. Airdots 3 disconnects randomly while listening to music Posted: 14 Jun 2022 08:34 AM PDT I recently got the redmi airdots 3, chinese version, and to be honest I've got very few complaints about them. Mostly love them But it bugs me a lot that they keep dropping connection. Sometimes it sounds like interference, but I'm no scientist so I really don't know haha. I've tried playing with the Bluetooth settings on the developers options but I really don't know what I'm doing or if that would help at all. If I'm seating down they are ok, but when i put them in my pocket and walk, they start dropping connection. Pd: I'm using a xiaomi redmi note 9 pro. For the south american region, never rooted.
