    5 RTS Games I Enjoy

    Posted: 05 Jun 2022 10:08 AM PDT

I think that the RTS genre translates extremely well to mobile. However, it can feel like there are only pay-to-win RTS games because of their constant advertisements everywhere. That's why I wanted to throw together a list of some of the ones I've personally enjoyed! I hope it helps others find an RTS game to sink some time into!

I also made a video that contains gameplay footage and further information about each individual game within this list.

Feel free to watch it here: https://youtu.be/yiflvnOlqGo

Alright, let's get right into it!

    ———————————————————————

    1. Galcon 2: This is an old one but a good one! You start out controlling various planets. The larger the planet is, the faster units will spawn on the planet. You can then order units from planet to planet in order to take over new planets. Its mechanics are simple to understand but the gameplay remains very strategic. Single/multiplayer matches are very quick and satisfying. I highly suggest this one!

    2. Northgard: This is one of my personal favorites on mobile. It has a distinct "civ-builder" feel to it while also including everything else that the RTS genre is known for. There are several clans to play as and every one of them has a unique play style to set them apart from the rest. It's important to note that this is an extremely well-done mobile port and it's just as good on mobile as other platforms.

    3. Rusted Warfare: This one strongly reminds me of a flash game due to its art style and sound design. It has several game modes along with a ton of options/settings to boot. Due to its large-scale battles and numerous units on the screen at once, it truly feels like a full-fledged PC RTS. It doesn't add anything unique to the RTS genre but what it does, it does really well.

    4. Domination Wars: This game streamlines the core RTS formula by removing some of the micromanaging that RTS games tend to have. You build different encampments that spawn various units. These units control their own actions so most of your decision-making involves utilizing abilities and building encampments in the right place, at the right time. Matches are quick, hectic, and fun. This one is a great option for a more casual experience.

    5. RTS Siege Up!: This game has quite a bit of charm because of its art style. It has a single-player campaign, multiplayer, and a level-creator where you can share/play created levels. It's important to note that you can also play this in either portrait or landscape mode. I've been really impressed by this one and it has quickly become one of my favorites on mobile! You can't go wrong with giving it a go, in my opinion!

any controllers fit the s10+ with a slim case on?

Was looking into the Razer ones but open to suggestions. Not looking for any attachments that just hook to a console controller since I'm putting this in an EDC city bag.

Looking for people to play with. I prefer team deathmatch. I think I'm decent. Usually place top 3 or 4.

Looking for something with gameplay like honkai impact or punishing:gray raven, but due to both FOMO and my gambling problem, I would rather not go for a gacha. anything with similar gameplay (manual attacks, dodge being priorities)?

My RPM Euro Games controller does not work with PPSSPP or Mantis for that matter. Help pls.

    Posted: 05 Jun 2022 07:45 AM PDT

I have connected the controller using an otg adapter. I have turned on usb debugging and the controller lights up after turning on otg in settings.

Mantis will even recognise the controller as Xbox 360 Controller. But during calibration the pressing of buttons will not respond in the app. Same goes with PPSSPP.

I am on Android 12 and have tried "turning of apps in accessibility settings" but no result yet.

Please tell me how do i solve this. Controller works fine with windows.

Game starts to have buggy graphics after playing for a while.

Game starts to have buggy graphics after playing for a while.

Whenever I play games for a few minutes the graphics will start to be messed up. Here's an example:

It also happens on other games like wild rift and codm. Is it an overheating issue? I've tried lowering the graphic settings but it still happens. Games play smoothly otherwise.

    My phone specs are:
    Samsung Galaxy A03
    4gb ram
    Octa-core processor
