Posted: 01 Apr 2022 09:00 PM PDT While I had been browsing apps on the Google Playstore for customization, I found this gem that was exactly what I needed. I used it to make custom shortcuts for my homescreen. With this app you can use the provided icons for the custom shortcuts or upload your own icons from your gallery. You can rename the shortcuts as well. This app is totally free and all of the customization options I listed can be done within the apps free version. Although there are more options when you buy the pro mode of the app. With the pro mode you can make collections of the custom shortcuts for ease of access, as well as upload icons from your gallery to the selection of default icons. There is so much more to this app and I implore you to check it out yourself. This is genuinely the best shortcut creator for android that I have ever used within my years of having a Samsung. download for the app --> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.alextern.shortcuthelper hope this helps _^ [link] [comments] |
Alarm clock with quick way to adjust time of next alarm? Posted: 02 Apr 2022 03:19 AM PDT I've been looking for an alarm app where I can quickly adjust the time (-5 minutes, +15 minutes, etc) of the next alarm and only that. I've tried two dozen of them but none of them had this feature. Gentle Alarm had it but I can't find that app anymore on the playstore for some reason. Recommendations would be appreciated. is there some camera app that automatically takes small/compressed pictures? Posted: 02 Apr 2022 04:32 AM PDT Hi all, I was wondering if there is some app that takes quick compressed pictures. Example Sometimes I want to take quick picture of something but I don't require it to be super high best quality just a pic. My camera on phone takes pic 2.4mb (example I did) and same pic on messenger lower quality but still good is 800kb and the details are acceptable aswell. Any camera app that does it? This way I will probably save a lot storage Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Apr 2022 05:49 PM PDT Google gave me a somewhat understanding of what .so and .apex files are, but i'm still extremely lost. Most google searches extremely little info, so i'm shooting my shot here. originally going to post a video of a bunch of the files, but since that isn't possible i'll just list a few of them: /system/lib64/libmppclient.so /system/lib64/libUltraWideDistortionCorrection.camera.samsung.so /system/apex/com.google.android.resolv_compressed.apex /vendor/etc/snap_gpu_kernel_64.bin /vendor/lib64/libc++_shared.so /product/overlay/NavigationBarModeGesturalNoHint/ NavigationBarModeGesturalNo HintOverlay.apk /product/priv-app/AndroidAutoStub/AndroidAutoStub.apk /system/usr/hyphen-data/hyph-te.lic.txt /product/usr/srec/en-US/portable_Istm /system/fonts/SamsungKorean-Light.ttf /vendor/etc/snap_gpu_kernel_64.bin Theese are a few of the paths that popped up whilst running a Mcafee antivirus scan on my galaxy s21 ultra. Are these like, classic examples of how the External storage looks? And is this all just stuff that keeps stuff configured correctly, provide apps the functions they need ect? Or am I missing by a mile rn? Just to clarify, im not asking for an explanation of every single thing here, I'm curious about the whole picture, if possible. Hopefully I'm making sense, I usually don't.. :D [link] [comments] |

I am having trouble to edit some MP3 file ! Posted: 02 Apr 2022 03:29 AM PDT For example; There is a 180 seconds MP3 file. And I need to delete 10 seconds part in middle of somewhere. However, the total length (180sec) should not change. I mean I can mute that 10secs part or I can record or copy/paste new voice on it. Is there any app that I can do that on Android? Thanks for advising. [link] [comments] |
Does anyone know of an app that lets you use your phone as an aux speaker? Posted: 02 Apr 2022 03:07 AM PDT I just got a polyend tracker and it doesn't have a speaker, so was thinking the easiest way would be to plug it into my phone and have it play through my phone's speakers [link] [comments] |

Remote Control App easy to take control of. Posted: 01 Apr 2022 09:39 PM PDT Hello, I've been reading up on remote control apps. One thing I haven't been able to determine is the easiest app to gain control with the user needing little instruction to accept, or automatically accept. Probably means it's not the most secure, but that's what i need. Something that requires reading numbers or codes back and forth won't work. My mom has dementia and the most simple things are difficult. I live 100 miles away and need to get her a phone i can easily remote control. Any recommendations? I'd prefer android to android but could settle for a windows based for me to her android. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 02 Apr 2022 01:05 AM PDT Lets say i want to add Obama's Twitter url to home screen...but kiwi/chrome instead of providing Obama's link it make web app of Twitter which when i open it opens Twitter's homepage instead of Obama account.....this happens to many other websites also [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Apr 2022 10:45 PM PDT So, I was wondering how far can you push Android and Windows to work together. I tried many apps to make it somewhat usable but I guess it will never be perfect. As of now I'm using MyPhoneExplorer app to access my phone's storage on pc and it also let's me share clipboard. Apart from this there are other features also such as sending sms from computer or receiving calls. Sending sms is helpful but I don't use sms a lot and for calling, you can call from pc but ultimately you have to use phone to talk so not that helpful. [I tried KDE Connect but it was very unreliable for me and I was also not able to access my phone storage fully so I just stopped using this] 2nd app which I'm using is Scrcpy to mirror my smartphone screen on pc to use Android apps. Latency on this thing is a big issue. I have been using it with a wireless connection and the experience isn't great at all but it gets the job done once in a while. So, Can you share your ideas or the setup which you are currently using with your android and windows system? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Apr 2022 08:44 PM PDT I'm subscribed to Google Play Pass and missed my payment deadline. Thing is...all the Play Pass apps I use are still working. I'd love to hold off on paying this for as long as possible if the apps will continue to work normally. Anyone know how long this lasts? It's been about 30 hours since the deadline and I'm hoping I can get a few more days before it cuts me off and I have to pay it. Thanks [link] [comments] |
