| S8 to a refurbished S10 a good move? Posted: 29 Mar 2022 07:01 PM PDT I have S8 and liked it but is showing its age and has cracked screen. I would like to upgrade to better model with more performance but not spend $400+. I don't care about the fastest CPU with all the features. S10 seems to be my price range. The state I live in does not have 4G on the coast. I have to go to the capital or put on roaming for limited data. Would a S10 give me better connection to t-mobiles network? I don't follow the news on versions of android. Will the android OS on S10 be secure and good for a few years? BUT, there's a lot of people like me who absolutely adore that and I genuinely hope it doesn't go extinct with their future models. Currently rocking Note10+ 5G, and will do so until S23U or S24U. Posted: 30 Mar 2022 12:43 AM PDT When I press the floating buttons and go to the options and change the equalizer on Sound Assjstant, it seems to have a weird effect, as the stock/base phone equlizer stays the same. How do I fix this and make both of them be one? It feels like the audio drops in sound when I mess with the Sound Assistant EQ and then the stock one as well. | SAMSUNG FINANCING WILL DESTROY YOUR LIFE Posted: 29 Mar 2022 05:26 PM PDT After spending 14 hours trying to get a new galaxy s22 Ultra, I was able to fill out the samsung financing form and get my phone. Hurray! After sending in my watch and my note 8, I got the bad news that neither were accepted as trades. I started getting email messages that my samsung financing account had to be updated due to the change in total charges. THREE TIMES I selected the link in the email, went to my samsung account, and re entered my name, address, etc. This morning, my phone shut down with a message that I had to call samsung support for nonpayment of a bill! I call samsung, read the message on the phone, and thus began my journey into tech support hell. 6 hours later, I had been cut off three times, been transferred (and I am NOT shitting you here, I have the hashmarks on a notepad) 17 times, three times on one call to the SAME department, while everyone tried to figure out why I had this message on my phone. Here is the ultimate kicker folks: If Samsung locks your phone, YOU CANNOT ACCESS YOUR SAMSUNG ACCOUNT ONLINE WHEN YOU USE TWO STEP NOTIFICATION. The phone is locked, so when you try to log into your account, the form asks you to input your two step notification number...which you cannot get at BECAUSE YOUR PHONE IS LOCKED!! And nobody, literally NOBODY can unlock your phone for you. I know. I tried. FOR SIX HOURS. So I have an email that says I am going to be reported to the credit agency for nonpayment of a bill that has NOTHING to do with the operation of my phone, I HAVE NO PHONE, and nobody is able to help me. Finally someone suggested that I talk with someone over in TD bank to see what went wrong, but the only problem was, of course, that I HAD NO WAY TO CALL THEM. After getting back to my house, I used my house phone and called TD bank. They looked up my account and told me that they see no reason for me to have a problem with my account, and that the only thing wrong was that in the credit application the job description was blank. I asked how the hell could you take my credit application and send me the phone, and then BLOCK payment from this account to Samsung? They had NO answer. Lesson learned folks! I will NEVER buy a phone from samsung again, and may NEVER buy another samsung product of any kind. I urge you all to do the same. You have no idea what kind of fresh hell they might subject you to! When my phone is put inside pocket and have incoming calls, it will vibrate few seconds and then touch protection is turned on and stop further vibration. I just got an email today saying they're being delivered, with a FedEx Tracking number stating it is arriving on March 30... Which is before the Pre-order shipment date? They added Buds Lives for free with pre-order so I'm assuming the tracking is maybe mentioning the Buds but on the order status page, it states that both the A53 and buds are delivered! I previously was sporting an S20 5g 128 GB that suited my needs fine. That was until I found my old Note 1 in a drawer and applied promotion. Quite pleased with my purchase. Any tips on how to get my entire library to one drive/gallery? I want one app and I prefer it to be the default offering. I tried downloading all of my photos but it fave me 40+ 2gb zip files. For the last week or so, my Z flip 3 will have a black screen when I open the phone.
