For me in more than 3 years of usage I haven't encountered a single bug ( btw on color os I found bugs in 2 months ) , it's great , smooth , the camera of course can get improved ( how does a 12 mp iphone sensor gets better photos than my 108 mp Redmi note 10 pro ) , but overall for me it's a great ui , and I can't get why people are complaining about it . | Redmi 9T issues with file manager and sound after update. Posted: 26 Feb 2022 06:36 PM PST Hey there. About 2 days ago there was an update for the MIUI version on my Redmi 9T. I'm now on version 12.5.5. Great, but there's some strange issues. Firstly, my alarm didn't go off. Well, actually it did, but there wasn't any sound. I keep testing it and it's like the phone is in silent mode, it vibrates and the alarm is shown on the screen but there is no sound at all. Also, the clicky sound that appears when you are setting the alarm in the default Clock app is gone. And I noticed that after I reboot the phone, the alarm works and so does the clicky sound. But after a while, once the clicky sound stops, so does the alarm sound. Another problem is with the file manager. If open the manager and click on the folder icon at the top so I can see all my folders, nothing loads. It just says "just a sec..." and stands like that forever. Again, if I reboot it works for a while but at some point this the issue appears again. As a side note, this may have something to do with another app I use called doubleTwistPro. It's my music player. I've noticed that the issues with both the clock and the manager happen after I boot up doubleTwistPro and play some music. I need to test this more but I'd figure I'd add it. In any case, what are my options? Can I roll back my MIUI version? I've had 0 issues up until this update, and now it's all gone to hell. I'll have to actually use an old Nokia as an alarm clock. At the same time, if I end the videocall or touch anything, my phone crashes and I have to restart. does anybody know what can I do? I already tried deleting cache of camera and other apps. It's really annoying because I have a long distance relationship and I use videocalls everyday :( My phone is a xiaomi mi 10T and the MIUI version is 12.0.6 Android version is 10 QKQ1.200419.002 Thank you!
