| Google Play Services has Google Pay app embedded! Posted: 29 Oct 2021 04:39 PM PDT Discovered something interesting today... I uninstalled the Google Pay app from my S20FE since I'm switching to Samsung Pay. But when I went into "Google Settings" and selected "Pay", it took me back into the same Google Pay app that I just uninstalled ... but from the android Task Switcher (swipe up), it said the current app window was actually "Google Play Services"! I can't run this "hidden/embedded" Google Pay directly (no icon in app drawer) but only through Google Settings. Interesting, eh? [link] [comments]  |

| FBReader Book Network not re-syncing with Google Drive Posted: 30 Oct 2021 09:38 AM PDT Hello, I was trying to transfer my FBReader books from an older Android phone to my new Pixel phone. All the books still exist safely as local copies on my old Android phone but for some reason they will not sync back to the FBReader Book Network. Google Drive will not even create the default FBReader folder and will not sync any of the books from the old phone app back to the cloud. Did anyone face similar issues or have any clue how a sync process can be forced to restore FBReader copies from an Android phone back to the FBReader Book Network/Google Drive when the default process fails? So just select the images in gallery and get a pdf, without any scanning, Things that I want: offline mode (no cloud), the more minimalist and more simple the better. The app - WhatsApp version 2.21.21.17 Is anyone having any problems with WhatsApp video call audio? I'm getting nothing only a load of horrible distortion during a video call that sounds like fireworks going off or guns firing. The people I've been calling recently are getting the same feedback their end, with or without using headphones and say it's my connection, I'm getting this distortion / feedback over my home WiFi or my data connection. This has only started happening in the last 24 hours and had been perfect until now. Is that a new WhatsApp bug I'm not aware of? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 30 Oct 2021 01:10 AM PDT Hello I currently have Google Pixel 4a 5g (on Android 12) and I have Muzio Player for my mp3 songs but for some reason it isn't registering that I bought the "Pro Version" ($10 USD for a "lifetime plan). Now yes I could repay the $10 but if I get a new phone it might not register that I pain AGAIN. Does anyone recommend an MP3 Player app? Preferably a paid version (ad-free, etc.) but it doesn't have to be a paid version. Also I dislike YouTube Music I've tried it and bought YouTube Music before and I did not like it. Thanks!
