Colour is darker on one monitor when I play a video

    Posted: 30 Sep 2021 04:21 AM PDT

I have two monitors, one is HP x24c and the second one is HP x2401. I was watching a YouTube video, I noticed the colour is different from before, and it's not only YouTube, when I watch a video on Reddit, it still has that effect. I thought there was something wrong with the monitor setting but still doesn't change, then I move my browser to the second monitor, but it doesn't have that darker effect. I know the colour is different because one is new and one is old, but it was not that dark. I'm guessing that there is something that I was messing up with but didn't realize. But this effect only works with video, if I take a picture and compare them on both of my monitors, it doesn't have that much difference, but with video, it is so much darker, and this has never happened before. I'm trying to find a tutorial on how to fix this, but haven't found it yet. I really appreciate it if you could help me.

Is there a way to get an archive for a permanently suspended Twitter account?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2021 07:35 PM PDT

I got permanently suspended like 5 years ago on a Twitter account that has soooo many memories. I got banned for using offensive words in a tweet. I have so many memories in videos though and even if they won't unban the account I should still be able to get my archive but I can't. Is there anyway I can get the archive ? Everytime I do a Twitter appeal I get the same message everytime saying I violated Twitter rules and I'm permanently suspended . Sucks

Big network issues with my new laptop?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2021 05:16 PM PDT

So I just got an Acer Aspire 3 today (Ryzen 5 3500U, 16gb RAM, Vega 8 Graphics, 512 GB SSD) and this bastard has been giving me trouble all day. First I put a clean windows 10 home iso on it, but I wasn't quite satisfied, there was a lot of weird devices that didn't even function in device manager, some were totally unknown, particularly the network adapters all didn't work and I couldn't get any internet til I plugged in my ethernet cable, got new drivers and started getting things up. I also mistakenly thought I had a trackpad problem, so I chose to reinstall. This time it was a w10 pro iso and a newer update at that. This I think is very important because OS changes infamously result in driver issues

Fast forward, this version was a bit more sane and stable, but upon using the pc more and actually downloading programs the cracks begin to show, I got a BSOD twice I think and it was SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED, Netwtw04.sys

I tried sfc and dism inbetween the bsods, they did find some errors and fixed them but it didn't help anything ultimately. Another huge issue I have is that the wifi works on its own accord, I'll have a stable connection for a few minutes then it randomly shuts down and says nothing is available and I have the 🚫 globe icon, turning off the power mngmnt and setting it to a private network did not bear any fruit

Also, when it does decide to give me a connection, it's not super fast, I can't seem to get more than 20-30 mbps while my phone gets triple that and desktop 6-7 times as much. Strange things like device manager, brave browser, simple apps like that freezing and closing happen, and sometimes I just feel like I'm using a slower PC than what I actually should given the specs in mind. Also tried playing Cities Skylines, let it sit in the map selection menu for a bit (menus ran fine) and then it just randomly crashed with no message or anything.

Yes, of course the obvious solution is to update the drivers but they're already top notch and removing the device and going back doesn't seem to do much. I hope I get at least 1 reply on this post because I can only torture myself with troubleshooting this for so long before it gets sent back to the store.
