But when I tried to search those files in the searchbox, I could find it. But when I click those files, I wasn't able to open it. Besides, the storage for those files is still being used. I googled about this issue and tried several methods to solve it, but all was pointless. The methods I used was: 1. Disable the hidden folders thing. 2. Error checking in drive properties. 3. Command prompt chkdsk. 4. Anti-Virus check. I did a complete virus/malware check with both windows virus and threat protection and 3rd part anti-virus software (Avast) but no malware/virus were found. | Where to Store Data while Upgrading Storage Posted: 30 Aug 2021 10:38 AM PDT I am currently in the process of trying to upgrade my storage and add a bit of redundancy to it. I had one 4tb hard drive and bought two more in hopes of setting the three of them up in raid 5. My current issue is that the raid 5 setup wipes all the drives clean but my original drive has about 3tb of data on it so I don't have anywhere to store the data while raid is being configured. I've considered looking into cloud services and taking advantage of a free trial or something as I will only need it for the course of the setup. I would like to avoid buying another drive if possible. I'm also not opposed to using something other than raid 5, it just seems to be the best option based on my limited research. | Posted: 29 Aug 2021 10:54 PM PDT I have an Asus Tuf A15 laptop, its microphone input is ridiculously low. The audio device appearing in the Device Manager is Realtek(R) Audio. I tried to switch the drivers from Realtek one to the High Definition Audio, and it worked well for microphone but now there is no sound in my laptop. Although there is no sound, the green sound bars still appear in the 'Playback' tab of Sounds Menu. How can I fix this issue? TIA! [link] [comments]  |
