| App that actually shuffles my music Posted: 17 Jul 2021 04:56 AM PDT I have like 800 songs downloaded on my phone (.ogg) and I want some sort of player that actually shuffles them. Everything seems to just play the same 30-40 songs over and over again while I don't hear some songs ever. I want to listen to my music offline and I have some weird ass songs so I don't want something like Spotify, just a music/video player. Can anyone help? [link] [comments]  |

| Need an FM Tuner app for listening to local radio. Posted: 17 Jul 2021 12:10 PM PDT I'm looking for a simple android app that can allow me to listen to local radio stations. My wired headphones work as an antenna so, I'm looking for something that can scan for stations and let me listen. I don't need an internet radio or podcasts. If I could favorite the 8 or more stations for quick selection, that would be great. Could you please suggest something on the Google Play Store or an open source one (F-Droid, Aurora Store) ? | WTF is going on with Google navigation? Posted: 17 Jul 2021 12:05 PM PDT In recent months Google navigation has become increasingly incorrect. It's directing me to entrances to parking lots that don't exist and never existed, the wrong way down one way roads, to streets parallel to the actual street in the address, on the other side of parks from the address. It also is missing roads, addresses and routes that were previously correctly in navigation and having other similar issues. In fact, while writing this as a passenger in my wife's car, Google navigation just tried to kill us by making us cross 4 lanes of NYC highway traffic to get onto the right exit for the lower level of the GWB, right after merging into this highway from the left and there is a perfectly good left hand exit to the upper level on the left. I'm at the point where I don't feel I can trust it at all. The worst part is they removed the ability to rate the navigation at the end of the trip and I have no way to inform them they're trying to kill me and my family [link] [comments]  |

Please let me know if you know this specifically. For example: 7-8 apps can remain open on a 6gb phone and it will probably not be able to hold 9 apps in memory. I know it will vary for different phones and different apps. I want to know about a typical or a specific usage scenario. Any information will be useful. But all of the sudden for 4 days all the all have been showing that it's unable to connect to the server. It can't download anything or search anything. The service centre isn't working and their email Id domain isn't there anymore. This was a paid app where people paid money for a lifelong membership. Is this a glitch or has the app been abandoned? | Turn Off Clock "Disable in Notifications" Posted: 17 Jul 2021 07:11 AM PDT Does anyone know a way to turn off the ability to dismiss the stock alarm through the notifications? I have it set to puzzle lock, which works well, but I've noticed it can still be dismissed with a single button press in the notifications, which I apparently do in my sleep. This defeats the purpose of the puzzle lock. If it can't be done with the stock one, is there a good alarm app that has a simple puzzle (I don't need anything too complex and don't want anything that's going to take too long to turn off because my wife will get pissed) that can't be turned off through notifications or any other way. Let's say I've 2 options at the beginning of my tree, then I'd start showing 2 buttons, and then I would arrive at the next level, depending on which option I selected, and so on. I searched on Google and also on the Google Play Store and was surprised to not find anything like that. I've also heard about AppSheet but it doesn't seem like it can do what I want. I built this check in app to make my parents check in everyday so I know they are still alive. You customize the schedule to however you like (3 times a day, weekly on Thursdays, etc.). Reminders will be sent out 15 minutes before check in and if they miss the check in you and them will be notified. You can also share images / text on each check in and view the history so it in a way acts as a family journal. I built this during my free time and the app is completely 100% free with no ads. | I Need An App That Will Display Video Codec Information? Posted: 16 Jul 2021 09:54 PM PDT I tried downloading VLC for android. Then when I enter a URL in the open network stream box to watch online videos, I click on options but I cannot see the actual codec of the video that is being played. It just gets formatted as a title but doesn't show the real codec. This problem is not there on the PC version of VLC. It's only this way on the Android.
