Asus computer networking issues, WiFi option not available

    Posted: 30 Jun 2021 01:22 PM PDT

Hi! Sorry if I sound super dumb, I've got no idea how computers work but I'm pretty much the only one who knows how to actually do stuff with them in my family so I desperately need some help. I turned on my Asus PC earlier today and the WiFi wouldn't connect, so like always I set to reset the computer and thought that'd fix it. It didn't. In fact, there's zero option for WiFi to connect at all. I've tried a few troubleshooting options but I'm not quite confident enough to try any of the more serious ones without some input from people who know what they're doing. I checked in the network adapters and it says my computer isn't connected to my Intel AC-9560 device, code 45. I have no idea what this means! There's a website that says to uninstall the software as well as the drivers, then use an app called driver easy to reinstall them, but I don't have driver easy and I also don't have a second computer to offline install it. This is so confusing and I need my computer to do my work from home, any help is appreciated.

Do wired keyboards use significantly more battery (laptop), than wireless ones?

Does it make sense to buy wireless keyboard(with usb ,not bluetooth ) or there is no big difference.Thank you!

These "X"s keep appearing next to my media folder icons every time I download something and put it it them.

Port forwarding doesn't work (X Rule is disabled) also my public IP looks weird than before.

Port forwarding doesn't work (X Rule is disabled) also my public IP looks weird than before.

Im trying to open a minecraft server on my computer to play with friends. I did this before and the portforwarding wasn't an issue, and my public IP looked normal. However, months later I tried to open a minecraft server and portforward but it tells me "X Rule is disabled". And my public ip looks like this 2a65:9790:122d:b4:59ef when searching "whats my ip" on google. While before it looked like this (148.201.815.143), not real ips btw.

Any suggestions would be appreciated :D

I cannot boot to windows, nor to my windows 10 installer to reinstall win10

    Posted: 29 Jun 2021 07:12 PM PDT

I have this HP ProDesk G2 Desktop Mini. The problem is, it cannot load windows 10, always black screen. When I try to boot to my windows 10 installer, it will prompt the windows logo, after several minutes it will disappear leaving only black screen. I have waited 20 minutes and still black screen.

Troubleshooting done: -unplug connections and power supply, detach hdd and cmos batt, press power key for 1 minute, plug them back, power it up. It resets the bios. Configured the boot sequence to boot to my windows 10 installer. Still problem persist.
