| Posted: 01 Feb 2021 09:34 AM PST Hi all, Longtime user of Blokada, but with a recent update, it's been randomly started blocking the majority of content, include basic website surfing (CNN, WaPo, etc) and even blocking Reddit from loading properly from Sync. I haven't touched the settings at all other than through Android to keep it alive. Is anyone else running into this? Should I be using a different block list or is there any way to resolve this? At any rate I'm looking for an app that will let me match the framing of a previous picture by overlaying the previous picture on my screen at reduced opacity. It keeps sending me notifications about it trying to upload things, but the storage is full. But can I now go ahead and disable the Gmail app itself? I'm using a moto g 6. And since I'm kind of a noob, I don't want to disable it prematurely, seeing it's a system app.but I can't see any need to keep it either.any help appreciated [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 01 Feb 2021 11:13 AM PST So I factory reset my Galaxy S9 2 weeks ago due to a memory issue and everything was fine. Then about 5 or so days ago, I started getting very intrusive advertisements. Full screen covering ads, ads that open any internet browser I use and I have to manually exit them, scroll ads along the top and bottom of my screen, ect. I've had this phone for like 2 years and this has never happened. It seems to be the launcher app Samsung One UI Home doing it suddenly. I've tried other launcher apps from the playstore but nothing has fixed what's going on. Just typing this over 40 seconds has brought up at least 3 ads. I can't even text my grandmother or grandfather without being buffeted by advertisements. Does anyone know of a launcher app that doesn't do this? Or maybe a way to stop this? [link] [comments]  |

Also needs to be able to be shared with others. This could almost be done with a simple group text, except the text input box doesn't filter the conversation. I'm looking for the simplicity. Thanks! I've used VLC for like 10 years on all my computers, PC and Linux. I have a Pixel phone with VLC. I use FX Explorer and Solid Explorer for files. I setup my Android VLC app with a LAN SMB favorite and can easily browse my music and playlists, stream works great. BUT. Literally it's an ugly big orange CONE icon for every single artwork. It's so jarring (compared to say, Blackplayer). I can never tell any songs apart it's just ugly and jarring. I have tried every hack I could think of. VLC android just WILL NOT show cover art, embedded in mp3 or not (cover.jpg).
