| Posted: 29 Nov 2020 12:57 AM PST I keep getting alerts like these . I had the exact same usage pattern on my other devices (Poco F1, Nokia 8) without any such alerts. It shows the same alert for apps like Discord and Google Calendar when I use them more on a day. Some apps that don't show up (despite having more battery usage sometimes) are : WhatsApp, Instagram, Twitter. And what's worse is, it appears OOS is killing Mi Fit and Outlook in the background. My email notifications are frequently just delayed or absent, and the Mi Band keeps getting disconnected. [link] [comments]  | ||

All the press shots I've seen don't really show how the layouts handle notifications or reminders, so I wanted to ask you guys what your thoughts on the new features are. | Making the switch to OnePlus: hesitating between 7T Pro and 8 Pro Posted: 29 Nov 2020 02:18 PM PST So I've had an LG G6 for the past 2,5 years, first Android phone I had since I used Apple before, much prefer Android but god, this specific phone, it aged like milk lol, do not recommend. I've several friends who have OnePlus phones, and they've always been very enthusiastic about it, and I think they look gorgeous and highly functional, so I've decided to make the jump to OnePlus and see if I can find a good deal tomorrow on Cyber Monday. So far I've been hesitating between the 7T Pro and 8 Pro since they're both around my budget (8T is too pricey for me atm), and I was wondering whether you guys have preferences for either or and why? It seems pretty evenly split from reviews I've found so far, so was curious to see what I'd find here. I'm personally not a huge tech nerd, but I do really value a good camera (mostly interested in this, I've heard very mixed opinions), smooth animations and a bright screen, and good battery life. When I take a screenshot it pops up in my notifications at the top of my screen and gives me a choice, to either delete it or send it(or just swipe it away og course), as it probably does for all of you. The problem is that today i deleted one and as I did it I realised that I actually wanted to keep it. No problem right? Just go into recently deleted aaaaand it's not there. I tried a few things and realised screenshots only actually save if I open it or open the gallery. I was quite sad as I really wanted to keep that picture and honestly got a little angry at my phone. Is there any fix for this? I am going to try some datarecovery to try and get it back but is there a way to prevent this from happening in the future? [link] [comments]  | ||

It works just fine except I can't receive any texts. I had that feature enabled and I'm still not receiving any texts. I thought I would try to get a new sim card and while I was getting it the Verizon rep told me that the cdma network was going to stop working at the end of the year. | Posted: 29 Nov 2020 01:40 AM PST Last night my phone completely froze, unresponsive screen and buttons and had to let the battery run out before using it again the is morning. Everything seems ok now, it turned on alright and I can't see anything wrong. I only had a few apps open at the time, no more than 5. Also my phone does occasionally freeze slightly when using apps, but going to the home screen or app selector sorts it out. Anyone else had these issues? [link] [comments]  | ||
