Netmarble Acquires The Rights For RF Online, Mobile Game Set To Start Development Soon!

It has been a long time coming. Who would have thought that Netmarble would be the company that will bring RF Online fans their much-awaited vindication as CEO Young-Sik Kwon, and Seung-Won Lee has announced that they have signed a contract that grants them the Intellectual property rights for the now-defunct game developer CCR, which means they now hold the IP for Rising Force Online or more commonly known as RF Online, the hit Sci-Fi MMORPG that became a massive hit back in the 2000s.

To elaborate more on the announcement, Netmarble has acquired all rights to develop any game they want that uses the RF Online IP. This includes services and derivatives. And use it they did because they also announced that a mobile version of RF Online will start development soon with the company's own N2 studio spearheading the project. It gets sweeter since the company also mentioned that the upcoming mobile game will have a global audience in mind.

Looking for a game with simple game and progression

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 12:54 PM PDT

    Hey guys

I'm looking for games with simple mechanics but that have a progression system behind. I look for games like garden or home scapes where you have a simple game mechanic (match 3) combined with a progression system as you upgrade your house/garden. Is there any type of game? Is there maybe something like a solitaire game with such a progression system?

    Stadia vs xclud?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 08:26 PM PDT

I noticed xcloud games totally lag and are choppy slow even at my house where my wifi is extraordinary. They also come in fuzzy and now high resolution on my galaxy z fold 2. I had been told stadia is superior but you have to pay for the games. I tried it out and saw a sizable difference. Anyone else with feedback to share on either service plus opinions??..... Please and thank you.

    Controller Mapper

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 12:09 PM PDT

    Hello,

It looks like Android10 now natively supports many of the "mainstream" controllers (such as Xbox, DualShock, and Nintendo Switch Pro).

I tried connecting my Nintendo Switch Pro controller to my Galaxy Note 10+ via bluetooth, and it seems to have connected! :D

I was wondering whether there are any apps that would help me remap certain controller buttons to specific coordinates on my screen-- in order to use the controller with mobile games that have a slightly different layout.

Other subreddit threads and forums seem to talk about outdates apps, so I thought I should ask on a new thread :)

    Thanks for reading 😊

Looking for an old knight game

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 10:35 AM PDT

Hi all. I'm looking for An old game I used to play as kid. It was like this knight simulator. Basically you'd build up your army and attack other castles on the map in real time. It was set in third person and has a royal revolt type art style. In the main hub area there was this girl who would ask you ten questions and if you answered them all right, she'd give you a sword and her love. That's pretty much all I can remember aside from you being able to attach certain castles in order to get a commander unit to help you in battles. Thanks to anyone who can help

    Any game like spellcaster?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 12:24 PM PDT

    http://www.andrew.cmu.edu/user/gc00/reviews/spellcaster.html

This is an old, turn based game, of which I remember having seen an implementation (on Windows, maybe?).

Do you know if there is an app for this, or a similar magic battle? I particularly like the idea that you have to control both hands, sometimes independently, and sometimes to form a spell together.

Any good new'ish game for long term & multiplayer?

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 08:21 AM PDT

I enjoy games where you can or got to play for a long period of time to be good at and that will remain relevant throughout the upcoming months / years.

I'm not a big fan of the mmos on mobiles but for example I'm playing Rise of Kingdoms where you constantly progress on a multiplayer environment and the more you play the bigger and stronger you'll become to face against enemy kingdoms, etc. I don't need one in the same genre though just something fun that i can play for months on end

Hi Finally paid off my biggest debt and It is now time for an upgrade!

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 03:19 AM PDT

As the title says I am so happy I finally paid one of the biggest debts I owed which was my ludicrously high student loan (yay omg finally!).

Now on to the details!I have an iPhone 5 which I bought used from a friend for $100 3-4 years ago(I had a dying $50 Alcatel phone at the time and bought the phone to also help my friend out) I also have no laptop whatsoever (that includes a PC). My iPhone 5 now starts to randomly die at whatever battery percentage such as my phone before. I love playing video games, and with the release of Genshin Impact, I am deciding to buy a new smart phone and laptop.

I am deciding wether to buy the Samsung Galaxy S20+ with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ and a low budget laptop < $400 or settle with something more balanced such as the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and a Decent laptop < $600-$700. I also heard about the Red Magic 5s which is cheaper than the new Samsung S20 FE rocking a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 for only $579 with liquid cooling but I don't know how good it is after reading some reviews about it.

What do you think? Any suggestions on a combination of phones and laptops? My budget is around < $1500-$1600. I would love to hear from you all. Thank you!

edit: removed the "+" on the "865+" about the Red Magic 5s and added new info

Need help to buy a gamepad (phone size)

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 10:09 AM PDT

H! Right now I own a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, which screen size its 6.3 inches. A long time ago, I had a IPEGA 9025, but this one and a few others says that their support it's up to 6 inches. Is it really their limit? Which one could I buy with no chance of having problems?

Need some games I can play with my friends where communication is absolutely necessary and which requires wit and strategy(and is not among us)

    Posted: 29 Sep 2020 09:53 AM PDT

I asked this before. Got good answers, but friends didn't like it. The thing we figured out they need are games where the player have to communicate to play. I mean in many fps games or moba games, some OP player can drag the team alone. But thats not what they want.

Think of among us, if you don't talk, you can't play. But we are playing among us and need just another game to not get bored.

I saw an excellent game on steam which is about a race with obstacles where players have to help each other to survive and also use their brains. This was a really great game because the players can either choose to betray another player to leave him behind or can cooperate to successfully navigate past obstacles very fast. I got too sad I couldn't find such a game on play store (if you come across such a game, plz tell the name).

So I am looking for games like this. Where communications play a deep role. If you try to play alone, you are doomed and the game also requires intelligence and strategy too.

I was thinking of a soccer game where players control only one player and play with other humans players and human rival players. Would be very fun. Because you had to communicate and also strategize.

So please tell me about such games or should I stick to steam only?
