| Xiaomi note 7 facing laggy issues and black screen at times Posted: 24 Jun 2020 07:08 PM PDT Hi! I've just wanted to check if there's any way to reduce lagging issues while using apps? I've noticed that my phone has been increasingly become more laggy despite clearing huge chunks of storage and deleting apps from my phone. I've even changed my animation to 0 as recommended by some forums online. I think I've done most things aside from rebooting my phone. Just yesterday, the phone screen just turned black randomly twice and nothing could be done to turn it on until much later :( Should I accept the reality that it's dying a natural death or is there anything I could do to save this? I frequently get "System launcher keeps stopping" notice and am asked to send bug report to Mi for analysis. I'm using the native launcher and am not using theme overhauls. | Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 screen brightness problem Posted: 24 Jun 2020 11:44 AM PDT A few days ago I was charging my phone and while it was charging I tried to use it. I could feel that it was very hot on the back and when I turned the screen on it immediately shut off. I though it overheated and that it was dead, but after 5 minutes I recieved a notification meaning that the phone was still alive. The brightness of the screen though is extremely low (even though it was on full brightness in the settings). Now my phone is practically unusable and I can only see the screen vaguely if light is hitting in a specific angle. I restarted it a few times. Nothing changed. I have no idea if it is a problem with the screen or the software. But i noticing that i need a bit more pressure on the touch to write properly to. | Posted: 24 Jun 2020 09:10 AM PDT So, after buying this phone roughly a month ago I have tried out many games, both demanding and non demanding. However, after trying out a lot of gaming apps, I have began experiencing some weird issues, mostly regarding the framerate of some games. Playing games like CoDM or PUBG on High settings didnt prove to be any challenge, stable fps any everything, and yet some other less demanding games, like Epic Seven and Clash of Clans (yes, even that) cant seem to keep a stable framerate. FPS goes from 60 to 30 and in between for no apparent reason in some places where you really would not expect such dips. I am starting to wonder if there is some kind of throttling at work, or if my device is not working properly. Any help? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Mi A2 Lite june security update Posted: 24 Jun 2020 12:35 AM PDT I just got this month's security update. First impressions appear to be that it fixes problems with the initial android 10 update. As of a few minutes after installing, the interface runs smooth again and apps don't get killed the moment you leave them. Not 100% sure if battery drain has improved or not.
