I wish OneUI supported custom icon packs like Nova Launcher and etc so I could go more into a minimalist look but hey, it is what is.

My Walmart is selling galaxy s11 and s11e cases, My question is how did they drop test them?

Man this was one of my favorite phones that samoled was ahead of it's time. Who can guess? Also check them decals. In my eyes, the Android popped through the apple in the form of a 'android' worm :D

If I can't turn vibrate notifications off on my S20 Ultra, I'm gonna throw it out the fucking window.

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 03:21 AM PDT

I've turned the vibrate intensity down, but there seems to be no way to turn vibrate off without turning notifications off. The constant vibrations for tweets or whatever is sending my anxiety through the roof.

Tried using the S20+ for 3 months

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 09:17 AM PDT

Guys I'm sorry but I had to stop and put it in a drawer. Its so awful I switched my SIM card to my wife's old pink Pixel 3 with a cracked screen. The screen unlock failures of the S20+ over and over and over on a daily basis I just could not tolerate anymore. Not to mention the slow lagged repose time with Google Auto and Android pay.

Samsung OS is just so bad it ruins the phone. The pure Android experience of a Pixel is just so much better in so many different ways there is no comparison. Samsung can keep throwing hardware at their problem but none of it helps get around the terrible OS. A Pixel 3 is a much faster phone in almost all real world scenarios.

M31 not Able to download any app from play store

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 08:37 AM PDT

    Hello peeps!

My friend recently bought samsung m31. She just recieved it today. Unable to download any app from play store ( like whatsapp instagram)

Since it's new phone. It's not memory or cache issue. She tried to use her mobile data, then switched to wifi. Even tried via different Hotspot. No result. Don't think it's network issue as well.

So i asked her to login using different google account and seem anyone have encountered with this issue. It will be really helpful if i get a solution.

    Thanks in advance!

How to keep Soundbar from switching to Bluetooth?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 08:29 AM PDT

I have a samsung soundbar (I don't think it matters much which one) connected to a Samsung TV. I have it connected with the HDMI and Optical (that's the only way it worked correctly). It works fine most of the time, comes on with TV and and outputs on D.in.

The problem I'm having is that it started switching to BT (bluetooth) and even after turning BT power off with the remote (and remote control app) it still switches to BT. I think it relates to having put a BT transmitter on another TV. I didn't pair the soundbar with the transmitter (unless it paired on its own) and understand that I can unplug the transmitter, etc but I'd just like to have it not switch to BT. I have never used BT on the soundbar and have no plans to. Two things bug me, 1) if the soundbar just randomly pic up BT broadcast without pairing are my BT transmissions coming out someone else's soundbar and 2) that BT can't be turned off and every BT transmission is a possible problem.

Upgrading from a 6 year old Samsung TV - will i notice the upgrade?

    Posted: 29 Jun 2020 08:22 AM PDT

As the title suggests, we're upgrading our TV (from a Samsung UE48h6400 to a 55 Q90T) and I wanted to get some opinions on any significant differences we can expect? - I'm also asking this so I can support negotiations with my wife :).

    Couple quick notes:

    • Why not OLED? Our daughter is currently addicted to watching sesame street and I can't risk the logo burning in (I acknowledge the risk is low, but it's enough to put me off).
    • Why Samsung? We love our current TV, it's served us well since Day 1 and our soundbar (also Samsung) bluetooths to other Samsung TVs only.
    • Why upgrading? We've never watched anything 4k, so naturally intrigued by the potential visual improvement. Our TV use is predominantly spread across Youtube, Iplayer, Netflix and gaming via PS4 (PS5 in future).

Please help support my business case and win my internal family dispute on a 4k TV purchase.

    Thanks!
