[REQUEST] Games with 2-Player Co-op Content

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 03:57 PM PST

I am looking for a game where at least some of the content can can played with a real-life friend.

We tend to enjoy RPG and strategy games.

I am happy to pay for an enjoyable game. IAP or Premium or Pay2Win are all fine as long as the gameplay is good.

Thanks a lot for any recommendations that you have.

    [REQUEST] Games like Infinity Blade

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 07:08 PM PST

Hey all, I'm looking to relive the adventure of Infinity Blade (originally an iOS game).
I know it isn't/wasn't available on Android but it's a game that I have a lot of heartfelt memories with and I'll love to try out anything similar, all suggestions are welcome. I currently own a Razer Phone so I would love to try out anything that's also graphically intensive to stress test.

    1. Hack & Slash- I love that beat down feeling when you swipe/tap the screen and your character swings his weapon into the enemy with those JUICY sound effects.
    2. Dodge/Block Mechanic- I know there's a lot of hack & slash dungeon crawlers out there but not all of them have this.
    3. No guns- Not a fan of the ol' pew pew, love the aesthetic of melee combat over ranged so this is a big one.
    4. Medieval?- I prefer the aesthetic of old, rundown castles and long valleys of nothing but green grass and the occasional shrub. This isn't a big one.
    5. LOOT!!!- The biggest one of all, I want to be able to customise my weapons and armour, man. That's fun as hell.
    6. F2P Friendly- If I have to pay for the game to play it that's totally fine- I just dislike games with a constant "power creep" that require players to spend regularly or in large amounts just to stay relevant or to progress in the campaign.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks all.

Is there every such thing as a gacha with grindable currency for pulls?

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 05:20 PM PST

I've been looking for something like this for AGES. Any gacha or hero collector that just allows me to grind for the material I need for pulls and not making it limited. Overall, I just do not like gachas because of how luck based they are. However, if your capable of grinding back the currency you lost then it seems really good. Any games that match this description?

[REQUEST] Games like King's Field or Shadow Tower?

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 03:54 PM PST

I can emulate both King's Field and Shadow Tower, and I do, but an Android game has potential for better graphics and smoother controls. I think a first person semi-open dungeon crawl has a lot of potential but I haven't found games like it yet.

    I hate those VIP systems

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 01:24 PM PST

They give you free stuff which is great and all for the F2P players but even for a casual spender or a whale, you'll get so many benefits. And when you look at the benefits of the VIP levels (AFK Arena, looking at you), you realize that some are given to so late in the game.

Instead of the VIP level system, give those benefits by some challenging dungeon or enemy or. . .better yet. . . . . .GIVE IT TO US WHEN OUR ACCOUNT LEVEL INCREASES.

    Rant over.

    I can't remember a game.

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 01:14 PM PST

You start off with a red swordsman with the fire element & gain a water healer not much longer. You run around an arena killing minions & bosses and you u can swap between heroes. The elements are fire, water, grass, dark & light.

Is there such a thing as a farming/base building game that isn't P2W / no IAPs?

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 12:32 AM PST

I'm looking for a farming game / base building game that I can just pay a one off price for and casually play, but everything I find encourages me to constantly spend money to advance.

I enjoyed Rise of Kingdoms but got tired of competing with the "whales" who would happily spend £100+ per month. I played Pocket City Free but got a little bored of that, but I am still tempted to give the full version a go.

Townsmen is something I may try and get into.

    Any recommendations?

    Genshin Impact Beta

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 05:58 AM PST

Was just wondering if anybody actually was picked to get the beta? I did both surveys, the one last year and just recently and never got anything. I guess its just like a lottery or something? Cant wait for this game to come out, haven't been hyped about a mobile game ever
