I don't understand how they own so much

PSA: Yes, CoD's servers are overloaded. You will be stuck on the loading screen until they fix or traffic slows down.

Do yall know of any good free games that have controller support?

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 03:50 PM PDT

I'm mainly looking for platformers, but I'll try anything as long as it has controller support.

Are there any games with character leveling/gear that I don't need to move around a world?

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 04:53 PM PDT

Don't care for the touch joystick or moving around an open world so much. Looking for a game where I can just fight battles (turn-based may be best) and get gear/progress story/unlock stuff. I'd like to stay away from Freemium games if possible.

Games where it's NOT efficient to play a lot?

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 07:36 AM PDT

Weird question, I know. But I'm trying to cut down on my mobile gaming somewhat and I'm doing that for now by mostly playing games with very limited incentive to play past a certain point, but where the gameplay is still enjoyable.

Best two examples for now are Hearthstone (dailies stack up to three days and are by far the most efficient way to earn gold, plus weekly events and other stuff to keep it fresh) and Brawl Stars (new events every few hours, but once you run out of tokens you're just grinding rank and that's also really inefficient). I also played Clash Royale for a bit but got up to the point where you sometimes just run into guys who are two levels higher than you in everything and that just got unfun. Might go back to it because the chest system is decent for limiting the practicality of playing too much, but probably not.

I'm also dabbling in CoD mobile now (which does NOT fit the current brief), Dragalia Lost (which also does not, and I've uninstalled twice because you feel you're just grinding and doing the story content is super easy at mid levels and advanced content is beyond my reach - but it's just so polished!) and I was playing Teppen as a Clash Royale replacement because there are good cards and all but there aren't actually levels. But Android 10 broke it temporarily. I also have Sdorica and Another Eden on my phone but don't jump into them all that often but they're so well done I don't really want to get rid of them either.

Suggestions are welcomed, looking for something where there IS progression, but not something where you can end up spending two hours a day doing dailies.

    Thanks for any help!

How to know if a pay to unlock app is on sale?

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 05:22 PM PDT

Final Fantasy XV , Grimvalor and other "free to play 1st chapter then pay to unlock the rest" apps. How to know when they are on sale? Any website like appsale or appslice for this type of apps?

A little bit of absurdity for today. Actually, this game is just a friendlier version of Flappy Bird.

[REQUEST] I find that many mobile games would be better played with a controller than with a touchscreen; what are some excellent Android games that feel best suited for a touchscreen?

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 12:11 PM PDT

When looking for recommendations, I often find that people suggest games that I think would be better with a physical controller. Whether the game uses a virtual controller (Downwell, Minecraft, every FPS game ever, etc), or a touch/drag movement system (Dragalia Lost), if the thought "wow, this would be a lot more fun with a real controller" crosses my mind, then I don't enjoy playing it on my phone.

What are some really great games that translate equally, or better, to touchscreen / phone gameplay? Off the top of my head, games like You Must Build A Boat, Clash Royale, and Temple Run all work very well using a touch screen interface. Bonus points if the game has minimal / zero microtransactions and can be purchased upfront. Generally speaking, I like all genres of games if the game is excellent at what it's trying to do.

Ridiculous Fishing looked like the exact type of game I wanted, but per the dev, the game was erroneously removed from Google Play for being "malware," and there is no ETA for a re-listing.

[REQUEST] Asynchronous multiplayer game for more than two people?

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 02:29 PM PDT

I have three (3) friends and I think it would be fun to have a game we could all play together on our phones. There are two Androids and one iOS involved. Here are the three key points I'm looking for:

    1. Asynchronous multiplayer for three players
    2. Cross-play between Android and iOS
    3. Trivia game is preferred but not necessary, I know I can't be picky

Detailed reviews for premium android games are hard to find.

    Posted: 01 Oct 2019 09:09 AM PDT

Most videos on youtube are "15 minutes gameplay" type videos (not really a review). Playstore reviews are short due to limited letters allowed. For ports you can resort to reviews from other platform like steam but for non ports l have to idea.
