- Need help repairing this boombox CD player, what tools should I use to get inside?
- I have an ipad that is controlled by meraki management but shouldn't be because I have finished my school year. Would a reset of my ipad delete meraki from controlling it?

| New mobo now system won't even spin up Posted: 01 Sep 2019 12:25 PM PDT I got a new motherboard so had to completely rebuild my PC, but it wont turn on in the case, at all. If I turn my PSU on for the first time, it makes the click noise like it's going to boot, but the fans never even spin; then if I try and turn it on after that nothing happens. I built the system out of the case with only the mobo, cpu, cpu fan, and hdmi plugged it and the fan spins, but my cpu debug light is on and I get no display, not even a boot into bios. I've tried reseating the cpu, did the PSU paperclip test, tried booting with one stick of RAM in the recommended slot, then a different stick in that slot, then in another slot. etc. I'm certain all the motherboard standoffs that are in are lined up with standoff holes in the motherboard. All my parts worked beforehand. I bought my GPU used and it's new to me and this mobo, but I've tried with and without it to no avail. [link] [comments]  | ||

Every time I boot the laptop or wake it up from Sleep Mode, the Mail application opens by itself. | Tv remote arrow buttons don't work. Posted: 31 Aug 2019 10:05 PM PDT The title basically says it all. Whenever i press one of those buttons the light on the tv blinks, meaning that it registered the press of a button, but it doesn't work. If i am in a menu and hit the down key the tv light will blink but it won't scroll down. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Motherboard power button blinking light, PC won't power up. Posted: 31 Aug 2019 03:04 PM PDT Last night I went to power down my pc and instead of shutting off, it decides that it wants to restart instead. Odd, but okay, so I try and try again, with the same results. It won't shut down and each time I try it just restarts. I checked the system auto restart, nothing, I checked the power options, nothing. I then get the big idea to run the shutdown but flip the power button on the power supply to see what happens right before it restarts. Well, it shuts down but I notice the power button on the MOBO starts to blink and when I try to power up the PC again, nothing. I just finished testing the power supply by jumping the green and black and then using my multimeter and running a check on every connector. The power supply checks out fine and every connection tests fine too and is putting out the proper voltage. I also pulled the ram and reseated each one, I pulled the cmos battery and replaced it with a new battery. I believe I have tried everything and think that maybe my MOBO is done for. Oh and also I did try to see if the CPU was loose or my heatsink was loose and nothing as well. Everything seems in order besides the PC not powering up and the ever blinking power button. Any ideas on what it may be? I have searched threads all day and really nothing to say what it definitively could be. Gigabyte GA - Z77X-UD5H Overclocked i7 4790K @4.4GHz Scythe Ninja CPU Cooler Rosewill RX850-S-B - Xtreme Series GTX 670 FTW Samsung SSD WD HDD Windows 7 This was built about 5 years ago and if I have to rebuild that is fine but if I can get another year out of it, that would save me some money until I get my remodeling done in the house and gove me time to start buying pieces here and there. I don't need to retrieve my old threads, I just want to take some precautions and set up my phone so it doesn't happen again. I looked through my settings and there is no where that talks about message limits. Is there anywhere else I should look or any other reason this is happening? [link] [comments]  |
