Cerberus lifetime license expired (yes, again!): alternatives? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 04:09 AM PDT The story repeats itself: the last Cerberus lifetime licenses have expired. While evaluating whether to buy a license or not, I'm looking for a good alternative: at the moment I'm trying Prey. Do you have any suggestions for other valid alternatives, apart from Google Device Manager and vendor-specific solutions (like Samsung's Find my mobile)? Thank you all. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 02 Sep 2019 10:11 AM PDT I have an idea for an app. Think it's pretty good, but I have no idea on how to get it started. Nor do I have any experience making one. Any help, tips or advice would be great. [link] [comments] |
English version of Zao face app? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 06:05 AM PDT Does anyone know if there is a English version of the newly released Zao deepfake/face swap application? I got a copy from the Chinese oppo app store but can't get past the verification. Much appreciated 🍻 [link] [comments] |
Looking for a launcher that has a google home feed and a good app drawer Posted: 02 Sep 2019 07:13 AM PDT I've been trying to find a launcher for ages now. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and the OneUI launcher is perfect- aside from one little problem. It doesn't have an option for the google news feed, only the bixby one. So, ideally, what I'm after, is, a launcher that has the google feed (I have the rootless pixel bridge installed) (i don't have root), and i want the app drawer to be HORIZONTAL scrolling, and have it organisable, with folders and my own custom sorting of apps, in whichever order I like. I've already tried Shade launcher, CPL, Action launcher, Rootless Pixel Launcher, OneUI Home, nova, lawnchair, evie, and microsoft launcher. I'll love you forever if you know of something that's like this <3 [link] [comments] |

Lawnchair launcher and the battery life Posted: 02 Sep 2019 11:49 AM PDT Like title says. I recently switched to Lawnchair v2 and I am curious about your thoughts on this one [link] [comments] |
Folder Sync Between Windows 10 & A Samsung GS10+ Posted: 02 Sep 2019 09:56 AM PDT So I am trying to sync my Music folder (which includes the iTunes Media folder) with my S10+. I've tried a few apps, but nothing does what I want it to do directly or costs are prohibitive. I was wondering if you lovely folks had any ideas. What I've tried:
To add to the crazy, my music folder is about 90 GB, I am working with a Toshiba Satellite that is almost 15 years old (so USB 1.0), and I want the sync to go one way, PC > S10+. Anyone have ideas? [link] [comments] |
Spectre alternative? - long exposure with AI to make crowds disappear Posted: 01 Sep 2019 12:04 PM PDT Spectre is an iOS app that takes long exposure photos - but unlike normal long exposure, it has AI that can do some other things. For example, you can use it to make traffic disappear on a bridge. Any Android recommendations? [link] [comments] |
Add Samsung Cloud Drive to Solid Explorer? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 03:02 AM PDT I just bought Solid Explorer and was looking at its cloud storage feature. I didn't see an option for Samsung Cloud Drive though. Is it unsupported or do I add it another way? [link] [comments] |
What's the best keyboard app to use nowadays? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 06:19 AM PDT |
Music player that fits these requirements Posted: 02 Sep 2019 11:51 AM PDT I've tried maybe 10 different music apps and none of them seem to do all of what I'd like. I'm looking for an app that can:
I already tried Vanilla Music Player, but playlist sync was broken. And no, I don't want to stream music. I have a large library that's stored locally. Any suggestions? [link] [comments] |
App to keep track of entertainment backlog (TV shows, Games, Books, etc.) Posted: 02 Sep 2019 11:51 AM PDT I'm the type of guy who starts something new without finishing whatever I'm currently doing. I sometimes forget what I started and never finished (happens with shows that release episodes once a week. Is there an app in which you can write the name of whatever it is you started and then check it off once completed? Maybe even list down things that you haven't started yet that you have on your radar? Worst case I'll just make a checklist on Keep Notes, but wanted to know if there was something that was specifically made for this. [link] [comments] |
I'm looking for an app to learn languages which isn't like Duolingo Posted: 02 Sep 2019 11:42 AM PDT Can anyone recommend an app by which you can learn laungages, doesn't have any in-app-purchases (except for ads), isn't all too pushy which it's notifications (unlike Duolingo), and is enjoyable in the learning process? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 11:37 AM PDT Foldersync just recently stopped working for me. I've tried clearing cache, clearing data, and re-linking my Amazon Drive account, but nothing is working. Are there any other apps that allow you to set up a schedule to back up your files to Amazon Drive? [link] [comments] |
Best remote control app for LG Smart TV? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 04:03 AM PDT I found one with a touchpad, for the pointer, but the problem is it can't scroll. Any have this? [link] [comments] |
Any app that can automatically change lockscreen/home screen wallpaper from a subreddit? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 11:18 AM PDT Im currently using 'Wallpaper changer for reddit' but it works for a day or two and then stops changing wallpapers or just repeats them. Or is it because MIUI doesnt allow wallpaper manager apps? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 02 Sep 2019 10:44 AM PDT When i search for APK editor on Google Play it feels like all of them are just crappy apps full of ads. [link] [comments] |
App that changes the phone call screen UI that you'd recommend? Posted: 02 Sep 2019 02:53 AM PDT |
Request for an audio player with the simplest possible UI. Posted: 02 Sep 2019 04:25 AM PDT My Mrs wants some relaxation exercises for her upcoming labour and birth. Simplest UI possible. I can set up the tracks beforehand, just don't want to have to piss fart around with fiddly controls during the labour experience. The Doula is reasonably tech savvy, but simple is better [link] [comments] |
