When I set it up with my microphone from the headset and my playback just through computer speakers, it's fine. However, when I select either of my headset sources (there's two for some reason), both will put whatever sound i play on the computer over the mic. This problem didn't always exist, i'm not sure what I changed that could have caused it. Before, "line 2" would cause it, but now line 4 does as well, and I can't even hear line 4 myself now. The audio plays for them, but all I can hear in my headset is their voices (from Discord). They also can't hear echos from discord, implying that discord using it's own audio setup is separate from the problem. I can't even find how to uninstall it anymore so I can re-try. My wires have sleeves. The reason for that is i don't want my excess wires to be dangling around my case and I'm hesitating cause hdd tend to get hot, it can theoretically fry my wires or something Thanks! After hours of struggle I found out a way. I hope this helps. | Major Screen Jitter on Asus VS247 Monitor Posted: 18 Aug 2019 01:37 AM PDT I'm having an issue with a 2014 model Asus Monitor, which is causing severe screen jitter and making the thing unusable. Here's a video of it in action. I have some specs from the serial sticker here, not sure if its helpful; Model No: VS247 100-240V - 50/60Hz 1.5 A Manufacture Date: Apr. 2014 Full transparency, I found her in the bin room close to where I work. This should have tipped me off, I know, but the idea of having a dual monitor setup was just too alluring. I plugged it in when I got home and she worked beautifully all night. It was only the next day, after about 45 minutes of use, that the screen started jittering, as seen in the video. Turning the monitor off and on again makes it work perfectly for about 5-10 minutes, and then it begins again. I have tried using multiple cables, both HDMI and DVI. I've updated drivers, checked connections, but the issue persists. Is this an irreparable hardware issue, or is there a \flicker** of hope for the old girl? | Hitting a snag while following a tutorial for streaming on Instagram through OBS Posted: 17 Aug 2019 10:12 PM PDT I apologise ahead of time if I don't explain this situation very well. I'm an artist who does a lot of digital and traditional art on Instagram and I'm trying to get more in the habit of streaming on the platform. I've streamed while working on traditional pieces, but I've been working more on digital art since I recently opened for digital commissions for the first time. As a result I want to be able to show the process. Instead of just pointing my phone at my drawing tablet screen, I already installed OBS and have it set up to record and stream from my art program's window. I was following this tutorial from the creator of the Instagram Live PHP (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6lp8g3zQeE) and I got to the point where I would have to run the Update.php file. I encountered this: "Your requirements could not be resolved to an installable set of packages. Problem 1 - Installation request for mgp25/instagram-php dev-master#0fa48d45ce103b5a10 7f90fe5c403c1a2bb7e8f2 -> satisfiable by mgp25/instagram-php[dev-master]. - mgp25/instagram-php dev-master requires ext-curl * -> the requested PHP ex tension curl is missing from your system. To enable extensions, verify that they are enabled in your .ini files: - C:\blah\blah\blahblah\Instagram-livestream\php-7.2.2.1\php.ini You can also run `php --ini` inside terminal to see which files are used by PHP in CLI mode. I did drop some coffee on the keyboard about 4 months before the laptop would not switch on anymore. Other than that i did Vape in front of the laptop so maybe that's the cause as well. It was still under warranty so when the tech guy opened the laptop up there was moisture which voided my warranty. | Looking For A Way To Remote Access Images From PC On Android Posted: 18 Aug 2019 03:52 AM PDT I don't know if this counts as "tech support" exactly, if it's not appropriate to ask here just let me know and I'll delete this and try to find somewhere else. That being said I have about 120gb of Screenshots, Artwork, and source images on my PC I'd love to be able to access remotely on my Android so I could work on concepting and design while I have downtime at work (I don't waste time, don't worry. My job is basically press a few buttons then watch a test run for 2 hours and make sure no alarms go off) how can I do this? One Drive/Google Drive/Drop Box isn't really an option for a couple of reasons, the upload size, the size of the individual files, and the quality loss (I've found One Drive automatically compresses things for some reason) but also the apps are all a pain to navigate/organize and don't generally show thumbnail previews in a convenient way. Oh I might add the content of these folders changes pretty frequently so "syncing" wouldn't really help. I'd have to sync the folders almost every day. I do need to be able to see preview thumbnails (and it would be super helpful if gif thumbnails would animate? I don't know how realistic that is. I don't have too many so I guess it's not massively important) The ability to download the files remotely is a necessity though. I need to be able to open them in various other applications. My old laptop broke a while back and I've only just got round to trying to get all the information off my old hard drive. I've opened the laptop up (HP laptop) and the hard drive has the number HP 836108-002 (looks like this). Could you please advise which cable to buy from amazon.co.uk that will fit the SSD drive and allow me to connect it via USB to my current laptop, so I can access the data? The thing is I have always had Windows preinstalled on my computers and I have not much understanding of how installing a Windows Operating System from an "official" DVD works. I bought it because my inverter is old and it takes a little time to switch to power when the light goes out . Now , it is all set up and that . When the power goes out , the pc is all okay but the inverter starts to make some beeping noises . ( The battery charging sign blinks with it , also the fans in the room stops for an instant when the beeping sounds ) What should I do ? Its not gamebreaking or anything but its annoying as hell also it affects my monitor . I guess that it is due to my inverter , not being able to charge my ups . | Seagate Hard Drive Greyed Out in Mac Disk Utility Posted: 18 Aug 2019 03:24 AM PDT Hi, all. I bought a Seagate 2TB hard drive around a year-and-a-half ago to use with my Macbook Pro 2015. Around 6 months ago, I plugged it in and it didn't show up on my desktop, ever since then, it stopped showing up on my desktop and only shows up in Disk Utility, but is greyed out. I've tried mounting it and First Aid through Disk Utility, but nothing. I understand this was probably a rookie mistake on my end to not format it to be compatible with Mac before using it, but I was just lazy, and since it seemed to work just fine, initially, I just left it as is. A couple months before, I would plug it in and it wouldn't show up, then I'd detach it/re-attach it, then it'd show up (which it still does, but it's greyed out in Disk Utility). There were times where it wouldn't show up until about 10 minutes after attaching it. I've tried a different cable and it doesn't change anything. When I attach it, I can hear the disk spinning inside and the indicator light comes on I guess my question is, is there any way to rectify this other than trying to reformat it using a Windows machine? We don't have any Windows computers in my house, so I'd probably have to go buy one or ask a friend or something, but I'd prefer to do it myself (if possible, of course). Then the other day the second monitor just went black and stopped displaying. Whenever i plug the monitor back in i get the windows noise and the monitor says no HDMI signal from your device. i know the monitor, HDMI cable and the HDMI to DP works as i tried them on another PC and they were working a few days ago as well.
