On some phones, you actively have to select one SIM for incoming calls (one radio), on some phones you can receive calls on both SIM cards without having to select one (and you only need to pick one for outgoing calls). Is that the case with the Mi 9T as well? Can I receive phone calls on both SIM cards? Or can I just configure one SIM for voice and one SIM for internet? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 24 Jul 2019 07:56 PM PDT I just got the Mi max 3 2 days ago and it works perfectly fine except the wifi disconnects every hour and when it does it continues to disconnect for the next minute until it connects agian. I tested it on both my 5G and 2.4G networks and the problem persists. I turned off Bluetooth and it still disconnets and am wondering if there is a possible solution. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Help with Xiaomi MiA2 (Rooted) OTA updates. Posted: 24 Jul 2019 09:46 AM PDT Hello everyone! Well I bought a MiA2 few months ago and I rooted the phone to install the Gcam, everything went perfect. But an issue of rooting you phone it's that you can't download security updates anymore and you have to download them manually and flash them into your phone. I want to know if you can help me sending me a video or telling me instructions to do this! :) I heard that you can do it with Xiaomi Mi Flash Tool but I'm not sure how it works and I wasn't able to find specific instructions. | What bands does the Mi 9 really support? Posted: 24 Jul 2019 03:54 AM PDT I've been on the market, shopping for pones, and I'd love a Xiaomi phone, even though it may not be practical. My wife and I are looking to switch to AT&T, which seems to offer the best support for Asian phones, as far as network bands go. I've done a lot of research on the Mi 9, and from what I understand, the Global ROM does not support band 17, which is used in my area. However, I've read that the Chinese ROM does support band 17, but lacks English. All of this said, I've seen band 17 listed on multiple websites, banggood, gearbest, AliExpress for the Global ROM. Likewise, GSM Arena lists it as a supported band on their website. So, what's the deal? Does the Global ROM actually support band 17, or are retailers confusing the Global and Chinese ROMs? There was a message when I joined the Mi Cloud web page, that there will be changes in the plans where premium will give you 50GB instead of 20GB. There was written the changes will take place on 7/29/2019. Do any of you know if I will buy the premium now, will I get the 50GB in 5 days or will I be stuck with 20GB for another 1.5 year so I should wait with the buy till end of month? I'd really like to avoid phone unlocking in some situations like in a car or even when lays on the table and I don't want to take to to hand to unlock with a fingerprint. I couldn't make it unlock with my watch via Bluetooth (I read Xiaomi supports that only with its own devices, though couldn't find that in any manual or Xiaomi's official statement) so I tried to make unlock easier with Google Smart Lock. But no matter what I enable in Smart Lock the locking screen always requires either password or fingerprint. Is there any way to overcome that? [link] [comments]  | ||

The phone is fantastic and beautiful, and i was really happy with it, until i found out the notification delay was terrible on this phone. For example a friend sends me a message on messenger, and it can honestly take up to 3 min before i get a notification. How is that honestly acceptable in 2019?
