PSA: You can rotate pictures easier... Posted: 31 May 2019 04:19 AM PDT You can rotate pictures in your gallery by simply using two fingers and turning them. <----- This many people learned something new today. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2019 12:39 PM PDT Got tired of my OG Pixel's crap battery life (and shutting off when the battery reads 35%). Did my usual obsessive review-reading, landed on the 6t. Love it! left home at 615AM, didn't plug it in at all, and the battery was at 79% when I got home (after spending way too much time today at work playing with my new phone and getting it configured, so I'd call that with moderate to heavy screen time). Even though I had already purchased a Spigen case off of Amazon, I was really impressed that not only did the phone come with a good-enough case in the box, but it also had a screen protector installed! Posted: 31 May 2019 06:18 PM PDT Whats your guys opinion on the wireless Bullets 2? Got myself a pair when I bought the OP7 pro and am not going to lie really like them. This is my first time using wireless earbuds and am really loving them, didn't think I would get used to them after having used phones with headphone Jacks for most of my life. Sound to me is great, battery life is amazing and goes long without a recharge, have yet to charge them and have been using them for almost a week (about an hour to two hours a day), and according to oneplus themselves it will recharge 10 hours worth in just 10 minutes so that's an great positive. Have yet to find out about any negatives. Nonetheless what's your guys opinion on them? [link] [comments] |
I am so in love with this phoneeee! Posted: 31 May 2019 02:15 PM PDT My OP3's screen got cracked a week before the op7pro launch so I had to upgrade to the OP7 pro. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2019 06:00 PM PDT I've noticed an odd inconsistency with the High Power Usage notifications. I listen to a lot of audiobooks on Audible, and whenever the app is paused, but still running in the background, I'll get a notification saying the app is draining my battery. However the Audible app doesn't seem to cause battery drain any faster than normal active phone usage. The inconsistency comes in when I use the Spotify app to listen to podcasts, which does drain the battery faster than other apps since it's network streaming audio rather than Audible which plays audio locally. However, despite the obvious power drain, I never get any power usage notifications while using Spotify. Has anyone else noticed this? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2019 12:51 PM PDT Mix of stock camera, Gcam and Snapseed edits. I'm quite liking the detail the camera picks up. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 May 2019 08:13 PM PDT I had been using the stock rubber case after being disappointed with Amazon cases. The carbon case is spendy but it has completely changed the phone for me. It's grippy, small, has the right amount of lip height, gestures are easier to hit, and it just makes the phone feel how you would expect it should feel out of the factory. That's all I guess. I hope I holds up for the price I paid. [link] [comments] |
If I lose my phone, I am completely screwed. (Any 2FA Backup methods?) Posted: 31 May 2019 12:32 PM PDT If my phone is stolen or if it breaks or I lose it, I am completely screwed because I have authenticators with Google, Ubisoft, EA, Dropbox, Discord, Facebook, Stripe, Steam, Blizzard and even more. If I lose my phone it will take weeks to get those accounts back. Sure, I have some recovery codes, but Steam for example, doesn't have that I believe. Are there any backups that clone exactly how the phone was without ruining on a new phone? Another problem is, I kinda want the OnePlus 7 Pro, but the moving process of moving authenticators and bank apps is tedious. [link] [comments] |
Ghost touch to be fixed in next OTA Posted: 31 May 2019 07:52 AM PDT https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/known-issues-for-oneplus-7-pro.1044076/ Looks like its on the list of fixes for next OTA. EDIT: Looks like they removed it from the post. [link] [comments] |
TIL: 7 Pro comes with a screen protector pre-applied Posted: 31 May 2019 06:12 PM PDT Imagine my shock when i saw a airbubble appear near the power button.. But turns out the 7 pro comes with a screenprotector out of the box. (If this is just standard, forgive me, this was my first upgrade since the Xperia X10 mini from 2010) [link] [comments] |

OP 7 Pro battery life after 1 week Posted: 31 May 2019 08:55 AM PDT Coming from a Huawei P20 pro, at first I wasn't too impressed with the battery life.. however, after one week of usage I feel things are settling in and regularly and easily get 7 hrs of SOT with 90Hz refresh rate, location and navigation on. Now if only they can improve in the camera department.. https://i.imgur.com/6KjTuNV.jpghttps://i.imgur.com/Ofbi8Xk.jpg [link] [comments] |
OnePlus 7 Pro Live Wallpapers Not Working Posted: 31 May 2019 05:40 PM PDT When I apply the live wallpaper it moves for about 5 seconds and then slows down to a complete stop. It never starts playing again either unless I reapply the wallpaper. [link] [comments] |
Exponential data use, while connected to wifi Posted: 31 May 2019 11:38 AM PDT So, I just got my OnePlus 7 pro yesterday evening.. got it all set up and connected to my carrier (Google fi) ... I was having a little trouble with something just a couple minutes ago, so I just did a restart.. upon boot up I got a notification from the Google fi app telling me I've used 760 gb this month. Aside from going out to dinner last night with my wife, it's been connected to WiFi all night and day. After looking into the settings its reporting "Android OS" has used 730gb... Any ideas? Posted: 31 May 2019 09:35 PM PDT Hi all, so I've had ATT for years but recently their customer service and coverage has gone to shit so I just switched to Tmobile today. I had the S10+, but just ordered the One Plus 7 Pro. Any that came from an S10 how do you like the one plus? [link] [comments] |
OnePlus 7 pro proximity sensor and other sensors Posted: 31 May 2019 03:17 PM PDT Hey guys, just wanted to know if anyone has info on the location of the proximity sensor and the ambient light sensor. My phones brightness suddenly drops and doesn't normalise. Usually on my old phone, the pixel 2 and the 5T both, if I pointed the face of the phone in the direction of a bright light, it would up the brightness. That isn't the case with the phone The notchless display seems to have left no space for the sensors. [link] [comments] |
Oneplus 6T Not Charging (sometimes) Posted: 31 May 2019 01:34 PM PDT Hi Oneplus Community! Going to share a problem I've been having lately and wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Lately, my Oneplus 6T has been refusing to begin charging sometimes. I normally have my charger plugged into the wall outlet beside my bed and it has always charged fine, until the last couple of weeks. I would plug the charger into the phone and it wouldn't charge. I would then proceed to try different outlets around the house and eventually getting it to start charging. Once it's able to start charging, it will continue to charge completely fine. Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried the Oneplus Live Chat but have yet to receive any helpful solutions. [link] [comments] |

OnePlus 7 Pro Bluetooth 5.0 multiple devices function? Posted: 31 May 2019 02:36 PM PDT My girlfriend and I are travelling tomorrow and we were planning on watching some Netflix together during the journey. We both have Bluetooth headsets so I was trying to connect to two Bluetooth devices earlier but could not get it to work. It was "connecting" to both headsets at once, alright.. but it would only play media through one or the other, depending on whichever I select as "active"; when I try to make one active, it deselects the other. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that Bluetooth 5.0 supported connecting to multiple devices at once? Am I doing something wrong here? Or is it just that it CAN connect to two, but only one can be "active" at a time? Is there any way to get my media sound to play through both Bluetooth headsets at once or am I SOL here? Thanks guys, I'm a little lost here [link] [comments] |
Is the 9.5.6 update for the 7 Pro working well? Posted: 31 May 2019 11:50 AM PDT Been seeing a few people complain about issues with the latest updates, was wondering if I should hold off or just install it? [link] [comments] |
Yay, my book on tape just skipped an hour! Posted: 31 May 2019 08:32 PM PDT The setup:
A couple of updates ago, I was mildly annoyed that my phone would autoplay Spotify or Audible or whatever when I started my car. Mildly, because I could just push a button and turn it off when the noise started. Around the time they redefined the behavior of the physical volume switch, some sadist at OnePlus also made it so the media volume resets to zero whenever Bluetooth connects. So now if I just get in my car and go for a drive, Audible will autoplay at zero volume and next time I try to listen to my stories I'll be lost somewhere in the future. I have yet to find a setting in the phone, Audible, or the car that can make this not happen. Is it just me? Does anyone know the fix? (Have we doxed the sadist yet?) [link] [comments] |
