    How to take better photos

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 04:29 AM PDT

So I have an S10e and have seen some people take some amazing photos. I was curious if anyone had a guide as to how I could take better photos. A lot of the ones I take look grainy and just poor compared to other peoples.

    Galaxy Watch schedule

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 06:56 AM PDT

I am a former iPhone/Apple Watch user. This month, i made the switch to Android with the S10+.

I loved having everything I used on my wrist. I like the look of the large Galaxy Watch. Before i buy, i have a question: is there a Release schedule for these products?

One thing that's good about Apple, you can predict when new things are coming out. The next apple watch will be out in Oct and new phone right around it.

Before I spend $350+ on a galaxy watch, can anyone tell me if there is a likelyhood of a new version coming out later this year? I am using my apple watch as just a watch right now. I still have my iPhone charging at home. This works for me because when I work out, my workout is tracked as soon as I walk in the house, but I miss my texts.

If the Galaxy watch is not the best watch, I'll take suggestions too. From what I have seen, there are few that'll top apple's, but I'm willing to settle for now.

Sound quality Galaxy Buds vs included AKG earbuds

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 03:56 AM PDT

I know there's quite different opinions about the standard AKG earbuds that were included with the Galaxy S9. But I was wondering if anyone could comment on the difference in sound quality between those and the new Galaxy Buds.

I've read that the sound quality of the Galaxy Buds isn't amazing but I wonder how much better they sound than the AKG earbuds.

Would love to hear from those with the Galaxy Buds.

S10 Screen Protectors similar to the Factory one?

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 07:29 AM PDT

So on the recommendation of a fellow Redditor I bought a Skinomi screen protector and replaced the factory screen protector with it.

    This was a mistake.

It was a pain to install and the edges are not going to last, there's noticable "stick" when scrolling, and orange peel when viewed at an angle. I wish I would have left the factory protector on.

Over the years I started with these Invisible Shield style wet apply and have become pretty good at installing them but the curved edge is a curve ball. I then moved to dry tempered glass and then to the Whitestone UV glue on my S9+. Neither of the last two I've heard will work with the S10.

So TLDR; is there a screen protector out there that can get me back to the factory screen protector look and feel?

    Thanks

Edit: I also realize that the factory protector was likely installed by a robot in a dust free clean room, so one exactly like the factory might be impossible.

How would I find this high quality Emoji?

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 07:15 AM PDT

I was trying to find a high quality image of the old Elephant emoji, but couldn't manage to find anything higher than 108×108.

Does anyone know how I would find a better quality image?

Galaxy buds desync on windows 10.

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 02:51 AM PDT

I just go the galaxy buds, and I'm really liking these. But I noticed problem when connecting to a windows 10 laptop. There is a noticable delay between the audio and picture, even though my laptop has bluetooth 4.1 .

The other problem is that the buds will randomly desync, so the left bud will have a bigger delay then the right one, and creating a echo effect.

Does anyone else have this problem?

    Galaxy Buds volume too low?

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 06:19 AM PDT

I got them yesterday but I noticed the volume gets loud, but not as loud as my wired AKG earbuds that came with my S9.

I'm told there are 2 volume sliders, 1 for the buds and 1 for phone media. I only see 1, which is the media: the buds. Anyone know how to fix this or are the buds just not as loud as wired ones?

Already tried the volume up touchpad. Still results in the same volume slider.

    Galaxy Buds Port Broken

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 06:10 AM PDT

Today I went to charge my Galaxy buds as normal and then the cable head wouldn't fully insert into the port of the case. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Like I hell ain't putting it for warranty since Samsung are dealing with a fuckton of voucher redeemers.

Buds US vs Canada BIG price difference

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 12:09 AM PDT

So I'm looking at the buds online, apparently they're $130 in the US, but $200 in Canada. With the current exchange rate, it should only be $175. The prices of other things on the Samsung store, including the new phones do not differ this much. Why the big difference?

    Preinstalled S10 Screen Protector Scratches

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 06:06 AM PDT

So I bought the Galaxy S10 5 days ago and the preinstalled screen protector already has scratches on it.

I don't think it is due to carelessness because I had my previous phone (S7) for 2 years without a screen protector and only had one scratch.

Is this something other people have experienced? And has anyone found plastic or glass screen protector (not the Whitestone $49.99 one) that works with the fingerprint scanner and does not scratch easily?

It was about 1 and half year ago I factory reset my phone since it was stuck on startup screen. I tried everything but after a week I had no choice but to reset my phone. I lost all my pictures of countries I have travelled to. Does anyone know if somehow i can retrieve those pictures.

Ignore my photoshop skills, but heres a rough sketch of a suggestion. The 'Lock Tab' button would lock any tab so that you can't swipe it up or clear all. This works for music apps so that you stop accidentally turning off the music while clearing tabs.

    Synchronize folders over USB?

    Posted: 31 Mar 2019 03:48 AM PDT

Does anyone know of a way to synchronize a folder on a PC with a folder on a Samsung phone (S9 in my case) while connected to the PC via USB. Tried the SyncToy application from Microsoft, but it doesn't work (presumably because the phone is identified as a phone and not a USB drive.

I would like to be able to sync my music to my phone, I organise my music in iTunes on PC and transfer via USB. So basically i am looking for an application that will make a mirror of my local folder on the phone, remove any files from the phone that are removed from the local folder, but not the other way around.

Yes I know this is easily done with things like Dropbox og DropSync, but I would like to do it this way, manually :)
