Some additional detail: I am using the Gmail app for an Exchange (non-Gmail) account, and every few days I will get the following notification:

| Push Notifications aren't working Posted: 27 Feb 2019 11:41 AM PST Half of the subreddit has had issues with the notifications on the 6T, and mine weren't terrible, but it has stopped entirely now. I don't get notifications on Twitter anymore, and i frequently use the app and would very much like them back. I disabled optimization (and I'm frequently checking to make sure it is still disabled, many people on the subreddit have said their apps are automatically reenabled) and made sure notifications were still enabled. I've tried to google it, but the only articles are talking about the uses of other phone's second cameras (e.g. wide lens, better zoom). But what is it with the 6T? | Can't turn off notification sound Posted: 27 Feb 2019 12:04 PM PST I keep getting notification sounds for various things such as when refreshing my Twitter feed, sending a message on Messenger, when I get a notification etc. I have my sounds settings to None where possible, however my Ring Volume cannot be reduced beyond a certain point using the slider. This started a few days ago despite me not having done anything unusual with my sounds settings. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have ideas for how to fix this? (OnePlus 6T) Many thanks. EDIT: Turns out there was something stopping my alert slider (slider on the right edge of the phone) from moving to the vibrate setting. [link] [comments]  |

| Oneplus3 Crashing -What is hardware failure like? Posted: 27 Feb 2019 06:18 AM PST So I have had my oneplus3 for years. A month ago the thing started to have the screen go black like it was off an become unresponsive or actually turn off. The system.ui application has been crashing frequently and randomly on some of my startups. Most of the time I have to boot it holding the home, volumeup & power key. I tried to wipe the whole thing today, start new using recovery modes option. (Sometimes this thing doesn't even boot fully and just hangs on the load screen) I was registering my google account as one does, and went to put in my name for the device. Suddenly system.ui crashes and the whole thing shuts down. Like this thing is straight up crashing in the setup for the phone. All I can think is something hardware related has gone wrong with this thing. Any ideas on whats up with this thing? I have done no rooting or fancy booting junk to this phone. Tried cache wiping and stuff in the past, but this has just been getting worse and worse with frequency and instability. [link] [comments]  |
