I Googled and found nothing and Settings eere no luck either. P.s. since updating to UI One, my phone is lagging :/

S9+ picture quality drops aftering zooming in and out of a photo in the gallery

    Posted: 30 Jan 2019 04:38 AM PST

I have recently bought an S9+ but I've noticed something weird when looking at photos in the gallery. Whenever I zoom in on a photo and then zoom out, the picture gets all blurry. If I scroll to another photo and then come back to it, the quality goes back to what it should be and the blurriness disappears. Does anyone else experience the same thing?

Note 9 screen is too dark, can't see details.

    Posted: 30 Jan 2019 05:33 AM PST

Hi. I have a "problem" with my Note 9 screen, it feels like too dim when the image im watching is highly dark.

For example I was watching a streaming of Dead Space, a pretty dark terror game, and I could barely see details in zones of shadow (which are basically all the zones). But in my PC monitor those zones were brighter. This happens with full brightness at my Note 9 too. Brightness improve shadows details but just a little bit.

    I made some screenshots:

    NOTE 9 Screenshot

As you can see, the contrast and deepness of darks are pretty different.

    PC MONITOR Screenshot

The problem is that sometimes I can barely see anything in dark scenes so I'm loosing information and details.

    Variable aperture

    Posted: 30 Jan 2019 08:51 AM PST

Hey, I was just messing around with the camera and I've noticed that when you use the front camera the aperture on the back camera switches to f1.5 and when switch back to back camera it closes due to my well lit area.

    Any reasons for that?

    Samsung appliances impressions

    Posted: 30 Jan 2019 07:30 AM PST

I know this may be an echo chamber for pro-Samsung discussions, but I'm hoping for some critical opinions on appliances.

I'm the process of purchasing a home under construction where the developer is including new Samsung appliances (fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer).

My only exposure to Samsung is through having an S6 and S8, which I've been very happy with.

I don't have the ability to impact which appliances are included, but I'm wondering if anybody out there uses Samsung appliances and what you think of them. Are they reliable? Do they break down? Am I buying what will possibly be a nightmare?

I'm also going to be purchasing a new television once the build is complete and my brain is going "may as well make it Samsung" which is probably how the brands want consumers to think.

Is Samsung a good choice generally for appliances?

Thanks for any insight/stories you're willing to share. If you're Samsung and want to give me a free TV to complete the set since I'm already buying six Samsung appliances are part of the build, PM me. :)

TV Query - Possible to flash different country firmware to set?

    Posted: 30 Jan 2019 07:18 AM PST

The title says it all. I bought a Smart Sammy TV in the Middle East and recently relocated to the UK. Support for my model in the ME dropped a couple of years ago and was wondering if it's possible to reflash the firmware for a different country? If so are there any pitfalls I should be worried about?

First the calculator now this... What are you doing Samsung!?

I just realised that the clock icon is dynamic and matches the actual time of your device. Pretty cool little addition!

To anyone who uses protective cases - Do you have issues with the Samsung foldable wireless charger?

    Posted: 30 Jan 2019 06:34 AM PST

I just got a new case in the mail that is protective with the built in screen protector and everything. I love the case itself and my Note9 isn't that much more bulky with it on.

I am having issues charging with this charger...

It connects for a second and then disconnects. This only happens when the charger is standing up like this. When it is laying down like this it charges just fine...

I have the dual charger at home and that charges it at any angle just fine. No issues charging.

I am just wondering why I can charge it at home just fine but not on this wireless charger at work? Does anyone else have this issue?
