Card Quest - First time on sale 30% off

    Posted: 01 Dec 2018 07:32 PM PST

So.. I am actually impressed by GrandChase after playing it for a couple days.

    Posted: 01 Dec 2018 11:30 AM PST

First impression: really shitty and generic gacha game with infinite top up events.

After pushing through just because and unlocking more advanced systems/features, I am actually VERY impressed with the game. I'll break it down in a few highlights below:

    1. Battery friendly. I just played it for literally 8hours on my Pocophone with 1 charge. The game seems to be very well optimized while at the same time having gorgeous graphics/animations.
    2. UI is sleek and intuitive. It's not one of those half assed cash grab generic gacha games, the entirety of the UI is very well made and polished. No engrish or vocabulary of 12yr olders (like Ragnarok Mobile from XD).
    3. F2P friendly. In a couple days I managed to do four 10+1 pulls from the store and got 2 SR characters, just from regular currency gained through missions and events. Of course this fades away with time as you complete said missions and events, but it's a positive perk of the game. The pull rates are kinda awful though, but that's the nature of the game.
    4. You can make most characters endgame viable. It's possible to strengthen up characters in lots of ways, and one of them is fusing the same in order to crank up their rarity. So there's a good level of balance between characters that are already top notch from the get go and some that can be built up to become really good at endgame. Again, points for F2P friendliness.
    5. No energy and lots of varied modes. As you play through the campaign, MANY new features unlock to keep you busy, get new ways of strengthening your characters and acquire currency/premium currency.

That's it, I just think I gave the game no chance at first and judged it by the couple few levels of gameplay. It shows to develop very well, be very F2P friendly and also extremely well made, meaning that the developers care about it - not just another cash grab.

    Button remapping for gamepads?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2018 05:59 PM PST

Hey everyone I just picked up a Bluetooth gamepad, an Evo VR Pro Level, and it seems like it'll work for me but I'm curious how would I go about remapping buttons for use with unsupported games? I did a bit of reading and testing a couple apps like Octopus, but wanted to ask here for better knowledge.

[REQUEST] Action games for slow reaction times?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2018 11:49 AM PST

I have a really slow reaction time for some reason (I think 500ms, twice that of a regular human). So I just want to know about some free action games that don't punish you very much for having slow reactions or action games that don't require very fast reactions.

Is there any site that can be used as a resource to find a games actual install size.

    Posted: 01 Dec 2018 08:14 PM PST

Many games download a lot more data than the install size shown on the play store. It's incredibly frustrating not knowing what the end install size will actually be.

[REQUEST] What NDS and GBA games do you play?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2018 01:05 AM PST

I love emulator games. I used to play Pokemon a lot. I played all the official GBA games and some rom hacks.

I am looking for good GBA and NDS games. I have only played Pokemon games.

Doesn't have to be strict GBA and NDS. I wouldn't mind playing other games too. Thank you.

Edit: Thank you so much guys !! So many replies and a box of games to try !! Definitely gonna play all of them and if possible, will let you all know.

How to make your own game?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2018 09:04 AM PST

I have some unique ideas for simple (2D) mobile games which I would like to develop. How to get started? Which programs do I need and which programming languages do I need to learn? Any good tutorials out there to teach me the basics?

[Request] What game to spend your time in ?

    Posted: 01 Dec 2018 05:09 AM PST

Hello guys, been lurking for a while but first post here! I've always been playing online games (RO, DAOC, EQ, WOW, CS1.6 etc...) And recently the amount of time i can spend playing video games has been dramatically reduced, so I mostly play on my phone. I was playing clash of clan for a while but mecanics got me bored.... Looking for a mmo or at least an online game on Android with progression, guilds etc... I've tried games like Royal Blood, Lineage 2 and so on... But well it's a bit too autoplay for me. Even if i'm not totally against some auto. Anyone has ideas ? Thanks guys!
