Unknown source of popup ads solved Posted: 31 Oct 2018 11:43 PM PDT I know that sometimes finding the source of popup ads on your phone can be a little difficult and annoying for most people, especially if you aren't rooted. Two days ago I started getting random popups throughout the day that were drawing over other apps. Narrowed down the culprit to the UFO.IO game and I uninstalled. It's opening up ads displaying over everything else and no name is displayed when looking at your recent open apps. Thought I'd share this here in case anyone else is having the same issue and have this game installed currently on their device. Please feel free to list any other offending apps in the comments. Any alternative to "Samsung Secure Folder"? Posted: 01 Nov 2018 11:56 AM PDT I just got rid of my S9, and the one thing I miss is the Samsung Secure Folder. For anyone unaware, it is basically a hidden environment in your phone where you can have hidden pictures or apps (read: porn and porn apps) and they won't appear on your phone in the picture folder or app drawer. It seems like Parallel Space is exactly what I need - Except it crashes when I try opening any of the apps. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Nov 2018 11:41 AM PDT If anyone is annoyed with slow and over crowded android share menu like me. I recently discovered an app to replace it. Here is the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rejh.sharedr This is the only app which still being updated. All other apps are not updated for a very long time. This is not a promotion to the app this is my personal opinion. I found this app recently and thought there might be some people like me who wants to replace slow and over crowded android share menu [link] [comments] |
Videoder YouTube Download Removed (For non-premium users) Posted: 01 Nov 2018 10:08 AM PDT As per the title, what seems to be the best alternative? Realistically I might just buy premium as the app is exceptional, but if there's similar out there of a high quality, no need. (EDIT: Also, why that app as an alternative) [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Nov 2018 08:04 AM PDT I'm getting no surveys in my rooted devices. I've magisk hidden all gapps, still no luck. Is it really because of my rooted device or some other reason. Please help. [link] [comments] |
[LFW] - Looking for widget - Clock widget with adjustable weather provider Posted: 01 Nov 2018 10:57 AM PDT I'm looking for an alternative clock widget for Another Widget, due to it's clock feature is only in Beta state and it's always late (about 3-4 mins). I need almost the same functionallity what Another Widget could offer. A configurable (font/color/bg - at least transparency) widget which shows:
I use Nova Prime on an SGS8+ (with the latest 8.0 ROM). Does anyone know anything similar app? [link] [comments] |

Why did so many developers chose not to add GDPR consent forms in their applications? Posted: 01 Nov 2018 01:19 AM PDT Hi, Lately i have been searching for a GDPR dialog examples by downloading apps from Play store, and i haven't been able to find more than 2 applications who have implemented some sort of consent dialog in their apps. My question is why did so many developers chose to ignore GDPR? Are there any consequences of ignoring GDPR? Do you have consent dialog in your app and if not, why? [link] [comments] |
Messenger Lite notification timestamp on Android Pie is missing? Posted: 01 Nov 2018 10:59 AM PDT https://i.imgur.com/E2MRh4q.jpg Instagram shows "9m" on its notification. How can I make Messenger Lite show the time too? On Oreo it displayed time, but after upgrading to Pie, that part is now missing. Messenger Lite is updated through the Play store [link] [comments] |
Finally A Replacement For Flamingo (Twitter App) Posted: 01 Nov 2018 06:21 AM PDT For me the updated (updated 25 Oct) Falcon Pro is shaping up to be the ideal replacement for Flamingo (no longer on the Play store and unlikely to be updated long term). I've been using it for the last couple of days and so far can't fault it. [link] [comments] |
Best keyboard app for big thumbs? Posted: 01 Nov 2018 11:22 AM PDT Ok i don't have giant thumbs but they are big.. I find it annoying sometimes to use android keyboards.. They keys are kinda long and thin, i would rather have wider keys. Increasing the size of the keyboard just make the keys longer not wider. Anyone knows a comfortable keyboard app? Posted: 01 Nov 2018 06:51 AM PDT I work for a marketing company creating promotional videos for our clients. In this line of work, I frequently visit plants, factories, etc, and shoot people doing their jobs to promote job growth in that area. This requires me to obtain talent release forms giving me permission to use their likeness. We have been doing this with paper forms, but would like to switch to digital. So far, I have done this using my Samsung Chromebook Pro and the standard Adobe Reader app. I save the PDF and create a few dozens copies, open each one, navigate to pen/stylus input, have the person sign, then confirm and back out until the PDF saves. This is very cumbersome and time consuming, especially since I need to work run-and-gun and often don't have a lot of spare time. I am looking for an app to do this easily. I'd like to just upload the PDF once and have the app save it as a template, then automatically create a new, blank form as needed. I'd like to have the person sign, then press a single key to save and bring up the next form. Also being able to export the signed forms into either individuals PDFs or one combined PDF would be necessary. I feel like something like this should exist, but have thus far been unable to find anything of the sort. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! [link] [comments] |

Posted: 01 Nov 2018 05:33 AM PDT I am using my friend's Netflix account. She was so kind to me provide a way to cope with all the bullshit in my life, so I try to stay away from the shows she is watching, not to mess her episodes up. However, the thing is that the Netflix is in her native language. My question is, can I change it somehow so it would be in English only on my phone? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Nov 2018 07:58 AM PDT This is just maybe a question, not a request. Before everyone starts linking their favourite adblocker, let me just say that I won't be switching back and forth between them, I'm gonna stick with Blokada for now, I just want to know if there's a way to manually config this. I used to play this game back when I had a rooted LG. And it did not have any ads (was using adaway). Now, with a new phone (Moto G4+ unrooted) with Blokada, the game is full of ads. I've used Block This before and it also didn't block the ads. I don't use my phone to play a lot of games, just random puzzles or games to kill time (like this one), but all of them contain ads and they're blocked just fine. Any idea how this game surpasses ad blockers? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 31 Oct 2018 12:21 PM PDT Hello I am looking for the perfect Mandala Maker. I have tried bunches of the Mandala or Mirror drawing apps currently available, but they all rely on one being able to draw a straight line or a circle, which I can't. I have found two apps that are very close, and if elements of them could be combined, it would be one Super Awesome drawing program. I have all the details (my dream list) written out but wanted to be sure this was the right place to ask for help making it a reality. If not, please point me in the right direction. Any assistance greatly appreciated. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
