    • Total budget and country of purchase: $3,000AUD, Australia

    • Do you prefer a 2 in 1 form factor, good battery life or best specifications for the money? Pick or include any that apply. Battery life, no bloatware, best value for money.

    • How important is weight and thinness to you? Light would be a plus, thinness not important.

    • Which OS do you require? Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux. Windows

    • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. Around 15" or larger, needs to be large enough to easily read from for an older person with glasses.

    • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. Will only be used for productivity (word, excel, powerpoint) and video streaming (from Netflix/other streaming sites, probably outputted to an external tv).

    • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? N/A

    • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? A nice keyboard with good readability and tactile is a plus, build quality a huge plus, otherwise nothing else is important.

    • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. Will be used by a late fifties woman, I said she could just go down to JB HiFi or Harvey Norman and just pick the cheapest thing she liked the look of and it'd do everything she wanted, which isn't much, but she wants me to recommend her something specific so... Please help me out :) I realise $3,000 is way way overkill for what she needs but, it's the number she gave me.
