Amazon basics USB 3.0 extension cable works with dash charging ($6) Posted: 29 Jun 2018 03:33 PM PDT Hey guys, just a heads up that the Amazon basics USB 3 extension cable works with dash charging. I know there was some debate over which cables would work with it. I can link if necessary. It shows dash charging on the home screen while using it. Posted: 29 Jun 2018 03:00 PM PDT my battery life in nougat was great, but after upgrading to an Oreo ROM by battery life went to shit. I was thinking of downgrading back but I don't know if it will fix it. Has anyone done this and succeeded? [link] [comments]

Posted: 29 Jun 2018 10:48 AM PDT Hello first time posting here, I'm experiencing an issue with Spotify on my One Plus 6: when I'm listening to music through wireless headset or jack cable in my car, Spotify randomly pause the current song I'm listening to and I have to unlock it and push the play button to continue listening until it happens again. I'm sorry if this has already been asked but I couldn't find an answer to fix my issue using search. Thanks for reading. [link] [comments]

Nillkin H+ Pro for OnePlus 6 Review: Great coverage. Tricky to install. Posted: 29 Jun 2018 11:33 AM PDT I currently have the H+ Pro from Nillkin installed on my OnePlus 6. I had ordered two just in case as I have previously used Nillkin on the OnePlus 5 without any issues beyond me screwing up the first install by damaging the adhesive with my nail while attempting to reposition it after installing. I cracked the first H+ Pro on the 6 while trying to remove it after installing because I had a lot of dust underneath creating air pockets on the sides. The second sheet went on perfectly but both times it took a while to pre-align using the hinge method. To install it without issues, you need to make it dust-free as much as possible and align it perfectly as this has 100% coverage of the flat part of the screen (same as the pre-installed plastic protector). The tolerance for error is 0.5 mm in each direction. There is no halo effect and a very negligible rainbow effect on either vertical side that you can't see unless you tilt your screen at an extreme angle. It also has no black borders since it only covers the flat part of the glass. The oleophobic coating on Nillkin protectors is one of my favourites amongst tempered glass brands. My finger glides smoothly across it unlike the ultra cheap ones on eBay. Some people say all protectors are the same but they're not. There's differences such as having Oleophobic coatings, adhesive quality, and curved edges that don't hurt to swipe over, etc... Overall I would recommend this only to people who are perfectionists and have at least an hour or more to carefully align the protector for a successful installation. [link] [comments]
Should I buy the 8GB RAM version? Posted: 29 Jun 2018 02:15 PM PDT So, I'm going to buy the OP6 and since I only really need 64gb of storage, do you think it is worth it to buy the 8gb ram + 124gb storage version? [link] [comments]
Does the OnePlus 6 have a Sapphire Glass Rear Camera Cover? Posted: 29 Jun 2018 11:19 AM PDT I remember that that 3T, and 5 had it too according to some professional reviews I read. Did they continue using it on the 5T and 6? [link] [comments]
[OP6] Texting apps stuck "loading conversations" Posted: 29 Jun 2018 07:18 PM PDT I just got my OP6 in the mail and finished setting it up. I restored all of my text messages via the SMS backup & restore app. Following this, the default texting app is stuck loading conversations. I also tried the android messages app as well as the YAATA app, both of which have the same problem. When opening the SMS backup & restore app, only a white blank screen appears. Restarting the phone seems to fix the SMS backup app as well as the loading conversations issue, but only when first opening the app. If I go to the home screen and try re-opening them, the problem reoccurs. I've tried clearing the cache. [link] [comments]

Thank you OnePlus for the great customer support Posted: 29 Jun 2018 12:38 PM PDT I ordered a OP6 with the bullets v2s, but unfortunately, what was included with the phone was the v1s. After a couple of days of emailing support (fast replies!), they sent me my pair of v2s that I paid for! I'm completely happy and just want to appreciate their customer support. Does the OnePlus 6 Android P beta have the official gestures or OnePlus gestures? Posted: 29 Jun 2018 03:11 AM PDT Just as the title says, I have a 5T and I found the OnePlus gestures clunky. Does the OP6 use the google pill? [link] [comments]

OP6 USB Car Stereo not connecting Posted: 29 Jun 2018 03:03 PM PDT Hello. I've been talking to the live chat about this issue beforehand, but at this point they want me to RMA the phone. Im pretty certain its software-related since the problem only happens with car stereos. I've tried: 2 stereos, different model & same brand. (Kenwood) 2 different USB-C cables (1 OEM, 1 Aftermarket) Enabling OTG Storage Enabling dev mode and turning on USB debug mode When I connect the USB to the stereo, it will reconnect every 1-2 seconds, causing the screen UI to flicker and refresh any webpage you have opened at the time. It will connect to the stereo successfully for a very short time (1-2 seconds), triggering the box which asks if you want to install the Kenwood app for the stereo (not needed). It has some sort of connection to the stereo and they can talk with eachother, but can't maintain a stable connection, as the phone keeps reconnecting. My old Samsung S5 had to reboot the connection 2-3 times in total, but kept the connection after that. I am grasping at straws here as I've never experienced this kind of issue with a phone before. This is the first phone I own which actually had an actual compatibility issue. Any advice before I send my phone off for RMA? [link] [comments]
Goodbye OG Google Pixel, Hello One Plus 6 Posted: 29 Jun 2018 02:27 PM PDT You served me well, old friend, but it's time to joining the notch club. In all seriousness though, is there anything I should know? Any hints? Leaving my OG Pixel running Android P Beta. I was going for the P Beta on OP6, but I heard Bluetooth audio isn't working, which is a deal breaker for me, since I only have bluetooth headphones. Any must-have apps or hints? I appreciate any of those. Thanks in advance guys! [link] [comments]
If I buy a SIM free OnePlus 6 in the US, will it work in the UK with a UK sim? Posted: 29 Jun 2018 06:47 AM PDT Hi guys, I'm just about to visit Boston, but in my rush to get ready I ended up smashing my Nexus 5 (2013). Not to worry, time to upgrade! It seems to me the OnePlus 6 could offer 4.5 years of value like the Nexus did, but if I buy in the US I will save £130! My only concern is that, based on stuff I've heard before, the US versions of some phones have certain things locked / restricted for whatever reason (like certain flavours of 4G, but forgive me, I'm no expert). Does anyone know if I buy a SIM free OnePlus 6, will it work just the same as a UK model? Cheers. [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2018 02:12 PM PDT I love OnePlus. The OnePlus 6 is the first one I've owned, and it is truly amazing. When I bought my it, I also bought the screen protector with it, and to br honest, it kind of sucks. It happens quite often that air just somehow gets underneath it and I have to squeeze it out again. One time, I tried to push it away, and the protector simply broke! And the worst thing is, after applying, in the bottom right hand corner of my screen, something has come underneath it, seemingly just air, but there's no way to get it out! Also, with the protector on, it doesn't always register all of my touches on the screen. That is, when I tap it lightly, it usually registers a tap, but now it doesn't. Please, OnePlus, can you make your protectors of higher quality? And can while you're at it, can you remove the stupid black borders? They don't serve any purpose apart from annoyingly being there. Thanks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2018 02:07 PM PDT So I Lost My Dash Charger Today and I Was Considering To Buy A So Called "dash Charger" (third party) From Amazon !! The Question Is Should I Go For It ,is it safe, reliable, long-lasting? Or Just Get A Original Dash Charger From The Official Site itself [link] [comments]
WiFi / VoLTE calling on O2 uk now available Posted: 29 Jun 2018 05:22 AM PDT As per the title, O2 now offer WiFi / VoLTE on the 5/5T/6. You may need to call them to turn it on. Moving from an iPhone, this was the only thing I really missed. [link] [comments]
Oneplus 6 File Copy from Windows 10 fails after a few minutes. Posted: 29 Jun 2018 01:33 PM PDT Just bought a OP6 and I am trying to copy my old folders, music and videos from my Windows 10 computer to my OP6. Around 30GB or so. After a seemingly unspecified time the "Copying..." windows disappears without any error messages but with an error sound even though there're lots of files left to copy over. File Transfer is obviously enabled in my phone, I've tried both with the standard windows MTP drivers and the OP drivers mounted from the phone. I've tried with rebooting both the phone and Windows, and tried with "USB Debugging" enabled and with the "Select USB configuration" set to File Transfer, in the Developer settings. Have anyone encounter something similar? My previous phone LG G4 can transfer files back and forth without any issues. I use the cable that came with the phone with the standard USB 3.0 ports (I've tried them all) [link] [comments] |
