[DEV] Exiles RPG update on world map, loot & dungeons

    Posted: 31 May 2018 09:41 AM PDT

Exiles of Embermark, the fantasy RPG we've been sharing development updates on for a while, got a big update with a bunch of imagery and info on systems coming online. There's new info on PVE, world map navigation, how you'll (quickly) manage your loot and some GIFs of loadouts and effects. Small team, big game. Would love any feedback and questions. Here's the update.

Any good and SERIOUS poker game for Android?

I'm looking for a poker game that is not just a bunch of people being max constantly or making completely stupid plays. I'm down to pay real cash to play as well, I'm just curious what everyone out there is using currently!

    Arcane Straight: Initial Tips?

    Posted: 31 May 2018 02:26 PM PDT

For some context, Arcane Straight is a gacha game with mechanics akin to video poker. I'm loving it so far and with more than 10 hours put into it, I feel like I still haven't run into any pay-walls. Part of this can be attributed to very strategic gameplay - every move you make needs to be extremely thoughtful and you're thoroughly rewarded for it. Absolutely no auto-play here - even revisiting earlier levels you really can't breeze through thoughtlessly.

Cons are that it's energy based and it's not at all generous with premium currency - however, since it's so strategic, I'm finding that you can handle content by playing smart. Also, no PVP, so the whole gacha aspect feels negligible.

I've seen this relatively new release mentioned but wanted to see if anyone had tips to share? The only thing I can think of is that it took way too long to utilize "Tricks". Particularly discarding entire hands. I am, however, having a hard time finding out why it's useful to discard a single unit when it costs a turn. Thoughts on that?

[Request] Story-heavy RPG with good controls

    Posted: 31 May 2018 09:40 AM PDT

Looking for an RPG to with a good, in-depth story, preferable single player, ideally not requiring an internet connection at all.

I'd like something that makes good use of the touch-screen interface and doesn't try to replicate a gamepad with on-screen buttons.

3d graphics would be great, but not absolutely necessary. I'm willing to pay up front for a good game, or to unlock features once, but I'm not willing to pay for in-game consumables.

I already have KOTOR from Amazon. I also bought it on CDROM for PC when it was first published.

Grow Stone Online, my favourite game

    Posted: 31 May 2018 11:18 AM PDT

Hey people, I totally recommend playing Grow Stone Online. I've been playing since the beginning, and it's extremely addictive and fun. It has some idle/farming and a solid RPG gameplay. Basically you have to collect stones and combine them to get higher level stones and fight bosses, monsters, earn rewards by completing quests... it's NOT PAY TO WIN at all, you can earn a lot of rubies by playing. I've never spent a single penny on it.

If you want to join me, let me be refer you and get some rubies, my name is Leyu.

    See you in there :)

    EDIT: it's a MMO.

EDIT 2: 1st anniversary event is up, come and get cool stuff!

RPG turn based game - Need suggestions

    Posted: 31 May 2018 09:19 AM PDT

    Hi,

Firstly let me apologies i cannot use reddit very well so the formatting looks horrible!

I'm looking for a new game to play and i have a fairly specific taste. This is making it difficult for me to commit to a game, so hopefully you can help me!

I like games with the below features:

    - classic RPG type games

    - Turn based (doesnt have to be turn based but these are my favorite types of games)

    - character developing (new gear, abilities, leveling)

    - building a team/party with classes (knight/mage/rogue etc)

    - unlocking new characters

    - Looting

    - building a base and upgraging it

    - simple game mechanics

    Games i have enjoyed:

    - Final fantasy 6/7/9/10/12 etc

    - Sonny 1 & 2

    - clash royale

    - hearthstone

    - pokemon

    - idle crusade

    - Pocket Morty

Games i dont enjoy in general:

    - 8 bit graphic games

    - games requiring you to run around and use an on screen analog stick directional pad etc

    - fire emblem heroes/FF tactics/chess board style games

any suggestions would be great, just looking for a new game to get my teeth stuck into
