Can't log into PC after doing the ''reset his PC'' process. shows incorrect password.

    Posted: 30 Apr 2018 06:58 AM PDT

I did the reset the pc process on one of my devices with the keep all my files option. All went well and when I wanted to log into my PC it says that it's the incorrect password and that it must be my Microsoft password.

Things I tried already and nothing worked: - Reset Microsoft password from same PC through reset password option. - Reset Microsoft password with another PC - Tried typing the password with on screen keyboard - Tried creating a local account through the USB via CMD method (seems recovery CMD is only temporary) - Tried restoring PC to previous point through USB (no Restore point available) - Can't see reset the PC option in advanced start up menu, also don't see safe mode in the menu. - Also can't seem to find a safe mode option in the advanced startup menu? been removed?

It seems that it's my Microsoft account password that does not sync with the PC I'm trying to log into. I've tried LAN and wifi and it's not working. I do have another local account on the PC that I used a while ago but can't remember the password for it :( (yes I know awful)

Is there any way I can access my Pc through the local account so that I can at least copy my files then I possibly format the pc and wipe it it? start over? Or is there any way I can let my Microsoft account sync with the PC so that it recognizes my Microsoft password?

Any help will be much appreciated :)

    Disabling front panel jack detection

    Posted: 29 Apr 2018 05:25 PM PDT

I built my desktop a few weeks ago, and everything worked fine, including the front panel audio jack. Yesterday suddenly the output refused to put any signal out for any of my headsets. I checked every connection, tried to move the jack in the output and sometimes it made popping and static noises, sometimes it worked and played sounds until I moved it again. I basically solved the problem by noticing that the Realtek driver didn't recognised the audio jack plugged in (but it did recognised the mic) and I disabled front panel jack detection. Now everything works again like a charm, I just wonder why do I have to disable this function, and why is that my computer is not detecting the headset. Any of you experienced something like this?
