And for that I mean that there are Google apps, Samsung apps, Microsoft apps, "other apps" ecc. I never know which one to choose because sometimes they are very similar and usually there are a lot of options available. | Facebook notification on galaxy s10 and s21. Posted: 01 May 2022 07:43 AM PDT I keep getting notifications from Facebook that are unresponsive. You click on them and nothing happens. They also look different from my normal Facebook notifications. In the sense they are smaller and generally have less information sometimes even just saying Facebook. I've cleared my cache and deleted and re-download Facebook. I'm at a loss as to what else I can do. If anyone knows why this is happening and has advice as to how to resolve the issue. Please help. Since I've gotten this phone, but I'm not sure it's all the time, incoming and outgoing calls will have no sound unless I toggle Wi-Fi off. Please try again later" Posted: 01 May 2022 03:20 AM PDT My Pixel 6 had recently started having a whole series of issues which appear to relate to work/personal profiles. The phone is synched via an email of domain run using Google Apps. Examples of the issues include: the Calendar and GMail apps start in personal mode (with nothing) and have to be switched to work mode to show anything; then the maps app won't show directions but just hangs; then gdrive and photos app won't backup but say "Something went wrong and you need to sign in again." When I try to "finish signing in to continue" it says "Can't add work profile". When I run the Device Policy it says "Network error. Please try again later". I have tried re-setting network settings, clearing buffers and re-logging in, but nothing seems to work. There is nothing obvious on the Google Apps Admin console (which I have access to) saying anything is wrong or what to fix. Any suggestions or help very gratefully received! [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 01 May 2022 01:55 AM PDT Whenever I watch an ad for stuff in a trustworthy game (PvZ2 if that is relevant), my screen turns black for a few seconds and goes to the lock screen. After unlocking the phone, it brings up a message that says "System UI is not responding. Do you want to close it?", with options to wait for it to respond or to close it. I have only hit wait on it. I would say what phone I have, but I don't know how to check. The only thing I know is that it is an LG phone. I have tried looking up the problem on google, but the answers didn't seem trustworthy due to how they were worded. [link] [comments] |

Initially the network worked with the original firmware, but GCash would not work. I thought it might be because it was Android 10. I updated to Android 11 using RETCA firmware, but GCash still doesn't work. I am wondering if I install international firmware if I can get this app running or perhaps the device is simply not compatible with GCash. The seller says it got dual Bluetooth hardware, so I should be able to connect to several Bluetooth devices (like OBD2 dongle, 12V Bluetooth monitor) When I search for Bluetooth devices it can't find any. So I am worried I have been scammed. Is there an app I could use to easy see if I got two Bluetooth modules (5.0/4.2) on the device or not. | Anyone with Android 12 with the app switcher button (square) not working? Posted: 30 Apr 2022 10:54 PM PDT My Motorola Edge+ 2020 forced the Android 12 upgrade and it's a pain in my behind. It runs alright, however, there is one major issue: the app switcher button (I use the 3-button navigator and I never use the gesture since that gives me issues all the time). | Posted: 01 May 2022 04:03 AM PDT Sorry if this is the wrong subreddit, I just have an android question and r/android redirected me here (one of their rules) TLDR: My screen is broken, everything, even 'touch' still works on it, Samsung Galaxy A51, won't show up on my computer anymore. Tried a program called Vysor to display the screen, didn't work. I'm 99% sure I have dev mode enabled. Questions: How can I fix my phone not showing up on my file explorer on pc (it showed up before) and Are there any good ways/programs for windows I can use to display my phone screen on my computer or do I need a USB C to HDMI cable (one is on its way, just thought I might as well ask)? Long Version: I broke my screen 2 days ago on my Samsung Galaxy A51 and while I did look around for repair shops I'm also looking for a few quick and easy solutions at home for things I can do to access my phone. Before I broke my screen, I was able to connect my phone to my laptop running Windows 8.1 with absolutely no problem via the cable that came with the phone and was able to view the files on it with no issue, it would pop up on my file explorer, I would enter my password on my phone and I'm in on the laptop. However, I broke the SCREEN, not the 'touch' so literally everything works perfectly fine on the phone, it's just black and I can't see anything (i memorised where some apps were like youtube and so I was able to go on it and play a video and it worked flawlessly) but since this whole screen problem happened, I'm unable to view my phones files on my laptop anymore. It still shows up as 'Galaxy A51' but when I click on it, nothing, not even when I sign into my phone. Also, I was wondering if there are any good ways of connecting the phone to a monitor to display the screen there as I already tried a program called Vysor but it doesnt detect the phone. I know I have dev mode enabled on the phone because I remember installing an APK file on my phone before which I needed dev mode to install so are there any good ways of displaying the phone on a monitor? And after restarting, on lock screen, it shows the default key board instead, which doesn't register my password, and it doesn't even have to option to change the type of keyboard. I swiped it immediately but about 10 minutes later I saw that it also got "behind" the phone, in the case itself. I was worried it might got in the gap between the phone and the screen. I couldn't even ping it, getting "destination host unreachable" responses. After some digging i found that it could be problem with ARP on my phone so i run the command Everything works now, but my question is: Why did this happen, how to prevent it in the future and what would I be supposed to do without root? | Can't use Google One backups to restore Samsung J3v phone Posted: 30 Apr 2022 11:44 PM PDT I've had to reset my Samsung Galaxy J3v (SM-J337v) a few times due to damn Verizon not allowing customers to delete dumpstate logs that take up a HUGE amount of valuable storage space and ever since Samsung started using Google One as their backup service and ditched their own, I have not been able to use the backups that are in my GDrive. Before you say anything, YES I do use the restore option at factory reset, but NO backups from my phone are listed when I do this, only backups from my tablet are listed. YES the backups from the J3v are present when checking my drive account through the app. So what is going on and how can I get them to show up? I really don't like having to resort to Smart Switch which has been the only viable solution for me. [link] [comments] |
