MS Word (365) crashing every 30 mins to couple hours. Please HELP! Posted: 27 Apr 2022 02:37 PM PDT As the title says, my copy of MS Word on Mac (updated to the most recent version) is crashing more and more lately. It just started out of the blue and keeps happening every 30 minutes to 2 or 3 hours. Nothing is different about my computer (no hardware changes/adds/removes, no software updates, no new or removed software, etc.) and I keep getting the MS Error Reporter saying something about EXC_BAD_ACCESS. A shortened version of the error log is below: If someone needs the full log to properly diagnose the problem, please let me know and I will DM it to them.

Switched MOBO in PC, no display Posted: 27 Apr 2022 05:50 AM PDT Hello everyone, thanks in advance for taking the time to read this. Recently, my buddy sold me his old prebuilt PC for pretty cheap and I thought this would be the perfect way to get into PC gaming. The specs are as follows (some things I'm not aware of, unfortunately): Processor: Intel i5 9400f CPU fan: the included one with the CPU Mobo: CyberpowerPC B360M Xtreme (this is one of the ones I'm not positive on) RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory Graphics: GeForce RTX 2060 Unfortunately, this is all I'm aware of in regards to the specs, not sure what PSU or anything. All I know is it worked. However, I wanted to upgrade the CPU to an 8 core. Plus I've always wanted to build a PC so this was a perfect example to do basically that by replacing the mobo. So I purchased a new CPU, CPU fan, and compatible mobo, since my original was not compatible. Those are as follows: New processor: Intel Core i7 10700f New CPU fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition New Mobo: ASUS Prime B560M-A I painstakingly followed instructions very slowly and thought I did everything right, but when I plugged it in and booted up, it never displayed on my monitor. As far as I can tell, everything was working as did before (fans, lights, etc.) but it was not showing on my monitor now. Some things I tried: -unplugging and replugging everything in carefully -reseating the RAM (I thought this was it because the first time it did not click in, but even after doing that, no luck) -switching the position of the RAM -plugging an HDMI/DisplayPort into the mobo instead of the GPU to set it up -attempted a bios reset by using a screwdriver to short the pins My friend seems to think that the RAM is not compatible with my CPU/mobo but I don't see how that would be the case considering my old CPU and MOBO have the same or lower recommendations for RAM. The only thing I see that looks different is it looks like there is an orange light on next to the RAM that I swear wasn't there before, but could be wrong. I will add a photo of that in the comments. I have been pulling my hair out about this all night and really do not want to take this in to get it looked at by a professional, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!! [link] [comments] | ||
HP Aspire 5 Laptop w/USB Keyboard - Does not recognize unless I unplug it and re-plug it back in. Posted: 27 Apr 2022 08:26 AM PDT HP laptop, windows 10 that I use a regular usb keyboard. It works, but on initial boot up each day, it does not recognize the usb keyboard. Is it the fact that I bought the cheapest keyboard at microcenter, or some other issue that I can turn off or on to have the laptop see the keyboard upon booting it up each day?
