My PC has a secondary HDD. I want to format the old SSD and move that to another system. What is the best procedure for doing a fresh install on my new SSD and formatting the old one? Should I do diskpart in the recovery CMD or do the format from within Windows? How do I do a deep format of this old one? I am worried because after I set up the new SSD with W10, I will have two drives with W10 in the same PC. [link] [comments]  | ||

| What's the point of swapping from Quick Access to This PC Posted: 28 Feb 2021 04:47 PM PST I changed to Quick Access over 4 months ago and forgot I did it and wondered why I couldn't see my drives anymore in File Explorer. Recently had to do a search to get the drives back. Whats the point OF SWAPPING THEM BACK N' FORTH? Why can't you have quick access and see the drives in this PC TOGETHER? you have to pin them if I understand correctly BUT my folders from my external hard drives don't appear anywhere when I pin them. Go to the store to the store to buy a genuine Windows. Error code 0x803f7001." However, I downloaded this copy from the windows website to a boot/flash drive and never had a different version. Posted: 28 Feb 2021 04:28 PM PST I have never had this issue before it just happened out of nowhere. whenever I play music on spotify all other apps will become quieter. if someone talks on discord all other apps become quieter, if im playing a game with a loud cutscene, all other apps become quieter. i looked everywhere for a solution but none of them worked. anyone have any solutions? | Posted: 28 Feb 2021 03:54 PM PST I have a nitro 5 Acer, used to have in the ssd drive a intel optane memory of 16 gb (came preinstalled,its shit btw), didnt know the hdd booted along with that shitty optane card [dont know how cause you cant save any single file in that card], take that card out put the new SSD XPG. Next I power the pc I'm in the UEFI cause i cant boot, changed the sata mode to AHCI (it was in RST with Optane), doesnt work, even with the ssd and hdd working fine (thanks to UEFI showing these drivers name), Even I can see the windows boot manager file in the list of Boot in the number 1. I think maybe the HDD got corrupted files, but i can see all my files fine thanks to a "window" trying to search a iso file, ( that i dont have only want to see the file). | Windows 2019 hardening 2.3.1.6 Posted: 28 Feb 2021 02:20 PM PST Hello, so I'm trying to apply hardening through ansible on windows 2019 server image. So patch 2.3.1.6 is giving me problems (rename guest account), It says it's changed on the during my debug ansible output but when I run a scan, it says it's failed. Posted: 28 Feb 2021 02:04 PM PST Hi about an hour ago I was playing a game & suddenly I noticed my keys weren't right, more specifically just the row under the number keys "Tab - \". Not sure why it's just that row I'm pretty sure I have sticky keys disabled. For example whenever I press "Q" my camera opens, "W" opens GeForce Experience, "E" types in "3edc", "R" types in "4rfv", "T" types in "5tgb", "Y" types in "6yhn". And it just keeps going like that all the way up to the backslash key. Again I'm not sure why it's just that row but any help would be greatly appreciated. 🙏 [link] [comments]  | ||
| Using External SSD for New Main Storage Posted: 28 Feb 2021 02:01 PM PST I recently got a new PC but the hard drive only has 500GB, so I got a 1 TB Crucial external SSD, if I wanna use this for basically everything I download from now on how would I go about it? I added the disk using Acronis TrueImage but when I tried cloning it it told me I needed to go inside the PC and remove the hard drive basically. I mostly want it for games currently, and I cant just make a Program Files(86) folder in the SSD and save the game/installer there, can I? Any help is appreciated. [link] [comments]  | ||

Its bassically for sorting out your desktop and I tried to delete it with a program that said it would delete every data connected to this program. So I did it and it kinda worked. My computer does not recognize the progra anymore, however i can still see it if i swarch it in computer and file explorer. But when i go to settings and try to uninstall it it doesn't find it. I tried everything i also went to file explorer and found a file that unninstals the program but it just says that uninstall is unexecutable. So can anyone help me i don't know what to do anymore. I've had my AirPods Gen. 2 since last September, and each and every time I connected/disconnected them on my iPhone, the sound they made felt much familiar to me. | Posted: 28 Feb 2021 07:22 AM PST Hello! My WiFi for some reason in really bad and keeps disconnecting so I wiped my whole PC. Now it's even worse. I get max 20 mbps download and max 50 mbps upload. On my iPhone I get over 600 mbps on both upload and download. Does anyone know why? I have the latest version on windows 10.
