| Posted: 02 Nov 2019 04:24 PM PDT Hi all, Ok so 6 weeks or so ago I did a quick review after I had the Mi A3 for about 10 days, here's my shorter (long term review) Battery - still amazing, take it off charge on a Monday morning, still has 20% left at the end of Tuesday (9pm) with around 6.5hrs screen on time w/60% brightness. Display - big talking point, it's 720p, however it's fine to be honest, you notice text sometimes on lighter wallpapers but it's a non issue personally. Performance/software - super smooth with the SD 665, No stutter or lag (I don't game) I've never had any bugs or issues with notifications etc. Camera - the best feature about this phone, with gcam installed and night sight, it's laughable how good this is for $249 AUD ($179 USD) I've attached some links below for reference on how good it really is... Downsides? Yeah there's 1 massive one... Fingerprint scanner - (this will sound crazy) it doesn't work when I wake up... Like ever.. it's not that the display is Dusty or the screen protector has slowed it.. it doesn't work. After about 10 minutes however. It's 99% accurate thoughout the day. Just to reiterate, there's no better camera in this price range or even $100 more.. this performs better than my girlfriend's iphone X Some samples below No editing except hitting 'auto' in the Google photos app [link] [comments] | ||

After reading at lots of places i've just been getting more confused. So any users who could tell me, is the screen really affecting your perspective. Fyi my current phone is xiaomi note 5 and i don't use phones for gaming but do watch youtube, netflix etc. If these factors would affect the conclusion please consider them. [link] [comments] | ||

Yesterday i downloaded "VMOS" which is a virtual machine, basically stock android if you will. In every game i tried within this virtual machine, I had super buttery smooth 60fps constantly. The screen feels really bad when I use it outside with sun, it's just too dark and almost unreadable even with max brightness, also feels worse in comparison with redmi 4x. After that, the wifi does not work, at the beginning not even to connect, later the icon shows up but still no connection. If someone can suggest anything I would appreciate it. But when it now boots, the initial splash screen shows for 4 seconds and the phone turns off again. When I plug in the USB cable, it keeps trying to boot over and over with no success. The only problem is with the lack of bands the pocophone f1 had for my carrier which is Cricket/ATT... Anyways flash forward about a year and now I'm really impressed with the k20 and others BUT it seems like websites I go to seem to have the phone marked up a good amount , almost by $100 .
