Activating Airpods Pro noise cancellation on Android Posted: 02 Nov 2019 10:32 AM PDT Many who have been looking to buy the Airpods Pro are question themselves on whether you could toggle the noise cancellation on android, the simple answer is: Yes, they don't actually need the iphone to toggle the noise cancellation, you can activate it from the Airpods pro itself by holding the stem until it makes a little chime and you'll know which mode your on because the noise cancellation is very noticeable. Unfortunately, no app currently supports changing the noise cancellation Period [link] [comments]
State of FM radios in phones now Posted: 02 Nov 2019 01:54 PM PDT In their infinite greed, manufacturers blocked the FM radio for years, even though it's such a useful emergency feature. And now, with the removal of the jack, the antenna is gone too I know that the recent Snapdragon phones have FM radios enabled now but as more and more OEMs ( let's face it - Samsung) removing the jack. How would it work? Does the note 10 radio work with the 3.5mm dongle connected? [link] [comments]
After Android 10 update I started enjoying using Android again Posted: 02 Nov 2019 06:55 AM PDT Hello, Android Pie on my Oneplus 6 device was laggy, micro-stutters there and there used to piss me off, scrolling was laggy, Ram management was really bad also. I tried switching to IOS, bought Iphone 7 Plus for 300 USD (it was my first Iphone ever so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it) I was seriously considering selling my Oneplus 6 device but decided to wait for Android 10 update. IOS is very well polished OS, its performance is very consistent, no random micro stutters which used to appear on Android Pie for me. But since I don't have any more Apple devices I don't feel trapped in its ecosystem, plus Android device works much better with Windows OS (like file sharing, or sync your phone so you can get notifications on your computer is really nice) Finally I got Android 10 update on my Oneplus 6 device and gosh it made a huge difference on performance. Even though Android 10 looks very minor update on the outside (like very minor UI changes) but on the inside I think it's a huge update, at least for me it made a huge difference on performance, I've been using it for a week now and no more lags or micro stutters, everything is very smooth, even Ram management seems much better on my Oneplus now (I couldn't say the same about IOS since Apple really messed up with IOS 13 big time, it's buggy and Ram management got really bad with latest IOS update, like web browser is constantly refreshing web pages, Google apps like Youtube is constantly reloading too, you can read about this issue if you want to) And freedom Android gives you is a big plus too, I can use Youtube Vanced with no ads, modify my phone as much as I want. So how has your Android 10 experience been so far? [link] [comments]

Posted: 01 Nov 2019 10:48 PM PDT I was watching a tosh.0 re-run about the chatroulette website , so I went to see if it was still active and noticed on the main page if i change camera option I had access to the pixel 4 ir camera. It's interesting and works in pitch black rooms. Just thought I would let the interwebs know :) [link] [comments] |
