    S10E Huge battery drain issues.

    Posted: 01 Nov 2019 05:09 AM PDT

Hello! I have an Exynos varient of the S10E, about 4 months old now, I don't overuse the phone and always let it charge (not overnight) I close all apps and put them to sleep when not in use, turned off location tracking, turned off tape to wake/lift to wake, always update software yet my battery keeps getting drained way too fast.

My battery goes down really fast in idle. I have it in my pocket (with everything like lift to wake off). It has 100%. 3 hours later, I take it out of my pocket, I'm down to 60% somehow. Next, just by using instagram for around 30 min my battery goes down by like 30%. Can someone help me? I am getting really frustrated that my phones battery has trouble getting over 3 hours in total use time (light usage too).

Anyone else with a s10 plus noticed any declince in battery?

    Posted: 01 Nov 2019 06:56 AM PDT

I ask this as if noticed my battery seems to go down faster than it should, and I haven't even had it for a year yet (a year being in April). My battery is mainly showing in the battery tab that it's being used by screen time,Android system, and cell standby. If anyone has these issues and has fixed it please let me know what I can do.

Does anyone have expereince returning a Samsung S10e (UK) ?

    Posted: 01 Nov 2019 02:57 AM PDT

I bought one last month and although I was aware of the 4g battery drain issues, the screen on time has been terrible. The other week I got just over 1hr 20mins and most days I get less than my Nexus 5 which it replaced. I have the brightness set low and tried turning NFC, location settings and other features off but honestly, for the price I paid I don't want to have to cripple the device.

Has anyone had experience returning a phone to Samsung UK? I have removed the plastic coating that was on the back of the phone because I didn't want it to overheat but I am a bit worried I'll get charged a restocking fee for it. It would be handy to hear from anyone that has done the same before I send it off.

    Thanks

    Galaxy A70 or A80?

    Posted: 01 Nov 2019 04:50 AM PDT

I am buying a new phone from Samsung in Winter, and i am right now for the A80. All-display and 730 are great. but i have some doubts about it, cause of the missing headphone jack, rotating camera, and its glass back. (i am kinda clumsy sometimes). So should i do a 180 and go for A70?

Why does different CSC / regions have different signal icons?

    Posted: 01 Nov 2019 04:25 AM PDT

As per title. Any idea why?

    Examples:

    • Indonesia/India: normal font 4G and 4G+ icon. It shows only when mobile data is on. 4 signal bars.

    • Taiwan: normal font 4G and 4G+ icon. Mobile data toggle will make the arrows appear/disappear,but the letters are always there. 5 signal bars

    • USA, some networks: Fancy 4G LTE icon, and fancy VoLTE icon. Don't forget the ugly "5G E". 5 signal bars.

    • USA, others : as above, but 6 signal bars

    • USA, another : LTE Icon. Have seen 4 and 5 signal bars in screenshots.

    • Australia : 4G icon only, no 4G+ even if it is. 4 signal bars.
