[Kubuntu] How do I uninstall Steam app ? Posted: 31 Oct 2019 01:23 PM PDT Apparently I have 2 Steam apps installed on Kubuntu 19.10. Doing `sudo apt purge steam` tells me I don't have steam installed. I also can't find Steam in the Discover Software Center. How can I remove each installation as well as all the data they stored (so I don't have any app leftovers) ? I originally installed Steam from a .deb package from Steam's website. I just found out that running Steam from different icons gives me different Steam apps (one is themed and shows installed games, the other is brand new - no theme and no library set up). I have an icon on my desktop which points me to `/usr/bin/steam` and another icon in my launcher that points me to `/home/termozour/.local/share/applications`. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Oct 2019 07:40 AM PDT Today I started my pc and did a windows update. Now I try to log in but when I typed in my password, pressed Enter and this circle with the "Welcome" thing appears, I get a blackscreen for a second and I have to type in my password again [link] [comments] |
Posted: 31 Oct 2019 12:35 PM PDT Hello, I've got a friend who recently bought the corsair HS35 headset and everything from the audio to the mic worked fine. Then when he plugged a new monitor into the computer, the mic on the headset just randomly stopped working. The audio in them still works but not the mic. We tried looking into the sound settings with the recording and stuff but it appears that the mic isn't there. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 30 Oct 2019 11:50 PM PDT So I ran a diagnostic test but I forgot about it and went straight to gaming. Only noticed it a while after using my laptop for other things. It didn't finish but it recommended that I not do anything while it ran. Was that bad for my laptop in some way? Edit: i apologize if this is a dumb question [link] [comments] |
