Posted: 10 Jan 2018 12:07 PM PST Iconzy Iconzy is an icon pack utility aimed to help people who like customizing their phone. Intro for those who are not aware: 🔹 Save icon pack and application icons to your storage as .png files 🔹 Advanced shortcut creator lets you quickly find all matching icons for a particular app and create a shortcut. You can also fuzzy find partially matching icons. 🔹 Universal icon search lets you search through all installed icon packs. Sample 🔹 Iconzy registers as a gallery app, you can use universal icon search anywhere you would use an image. Contact photo for example. This update brings: Shortcut creator supports many launchers now. Fixed some apps not being displayed in Shortcut Creator screen. Icon pack filter in universal search. Iconzy now has Adaptive Icon for Oreo. Monetization: All features free (minor ads - $1.49 to remove) Any feedback greatly appreciated :) [link] [comments] |

Is there an app that tells you which apps use what permissions and when? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 01:59 AM PST Title is pretty self-explanatory, is there an app that does this? For example I would like to know when an app uses gps, or connects to the internet. [link] [comments] |
Are there any decent gallery apps for Android with AES encryption? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 12:00 PM PST I'm searching for a gallery app that can encrypt photos stored on my device. At the moment I am using Solid Explorer to do this, but it doesn't work all that well as a gallery app as there's no ability to view thumbnails for folders. I have also tried F-Stop Gallery but this doesn't actually encrypt the images, since it just changes the file extension to prevent them from showing in gallery apps. BTW - The reason I want to encrypt my images is because I use an unlocked bootloader with TWRP, and so it's easy for someone to just boot into recovery and access the storage on the device without authentication. Posted: 10 Jan 2018 11:16 AM PST I just recently switched from my default SMS app (Verizon's Message+) to Signal Private Messenger. I've been using SMS Backup+ for years to back up my texts via email, but since I've switched it hasn't been backing them up; I suppose it doesn't recognise it in some way. I've gone into SMS Backup+'s settings and haven't found anything, but I am also somewhat of a tech n00b, so I could easily be missing something easy or obvious. So how do I get these two apps to play nice? [link] [comments] |
App that allows you to install 2 different versions of same app? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 11:12 AM PST I have an old version of Spotify which I would like to keep. Is there any way I could install the current version of Spotify as well? Something like Parallel Space perhaps? [link] [comments] |
Do you know of a Android APP Simulator for Desktop Posted: 10 Jan 2018 08:50 AM PST Hey, I'm having a simple app designed for my company. The programmer is based abroad and chose to build an app for android first and than IOS. The developer is emailing .APK Files. I do not have a android but co-workers do. However, I'm looking for desktop software where I can download .APK files and simulate useage as if on android. This would make sending notes and feedback much easier. [link] [comments] |
Calendar app with colour coding days? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 08:46 AM PST Hi guys, I'm looking for a calendar app where I'm able to color code days for an easy visual monthly overview of what took place. Color calendar seems like an obvious choice but I can't see that it's available in the Swedish play store sadly. [link] [comments] |
App that notifies you with containing specific word? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 12:46 PM PST For example, here in reddit, someone posted "giveaway" and you will be notified. How about a youtube app that does this? [link] [comments] |
Difference Smart Launcher IAP PRO and SL PRO Posted: 10 Jan 2018 12:15 PM PST What's the difference between Smart Launcher's PRO acquired through IAP (3,99€) and the PRO version from the PlayStore (9,99€)? [link] [comments] |
Accessing other Google Play Regions - No longer possible? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 11:00 PM PST I always followed the tried and tested route of using a Google account with an address of the desired region (my home country), logging into a VPN based in the same region, clearing Google Play Store app data, force closing it, then reopening the Play Store app. Until recently, this would then show me a Terms and Conditions popup, which I agree to, then it logs me in to that region's store. However recently, it hasn't shown the popup, and doesn't take me to the desired region, remaining in the region of my current geographical location. Has there been some kind of update recently that prevents this method from working? Or does anyone know of another method that might work instead? Note: I've tried it on a Nexus 5x and a Galaxy S8, with two different VPN services, all with the same results. [link] [comments] |
Seeking App: Volume Normalizer Posted: 10 Jan 2018 07:46 AM PST Searched "Normalizer" for this subreddit, found no living threads. Perhaps things have changed since three years ago? An app that is a simple on/off toggle that automatically softens loudness and turns up quietness for all media sound, matching it to the chosen volume level, would be super nice. Meanwhile, the app store is clogged full of overcomplicated junk that boasts about being THE LOUDEST or having a bunch of bloatware features that I don't care about. If any of you know about a lightweight simple solution, I'd love to hear about it - without having to turn you up OR down :p [link] [comments] |
Mobile Photography - is there any app that allows image stacking? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 01:36 PM PST is there any Android app that allows photo/image stacking option? example: i take 30 photos with a 2 second exposure for each photo. the app would blend/merge the images together to simulate 60 second exposure. Posted: 09 Jan 2018 03:42 PM PST I received a Snapchat update this morning that changed the UI of the app. Now the Friends section (on the left) includes their stories too, whereas Discover now mainly includes corporate stories. Seems like a way to increase ad revenue and sponsorship [link] [comments] |
[Looking for]App which tracks my mobile data usage by session time not megabytes. Posted: 10 Jan 2018 06:45 AM PST Since I mostly use wifi at work/home I don't purchase any expensive internet data plans so I use this one where my ISP charge me 1 cent per 1 minute. I'm using Redmi Note 4 but I only can find option for megabyte limits and not for time limits when on mobile data. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 10 Jan 2018 06:15 AM PST Sometimes I get an email on gmail on my phone. I think "Ok, I will work on it once I get to a desktop." and then completely forget about it. Is there anyway I can set a remainder on gmail app that it will remind me about the email once I am on a desktop? [link] [comments] |
Need a decent, simple picture editor Posted: 10 Jan 2018 01:16 AM PST Hello! Looking for your recommendations guys! I need a simple picture editor. All I want to do is be able to add text and draw on pictures. I love the editor in Google Photos but it doesn't offer this. Something like the editors in Messenger, WhatsApp or Allo would be perfect. Thanks so much! [link] [comments] |
How to answer incoming smartphone call with my tablet ? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 06:10 AM PST Hello, I have a Galaxy S7 and a Galaxy tab S3. When my phone rings I would like to be able to answer it with my tablet, is it possible ? I know that Apple allows it with their devices but I am not sure this is possible on Android, or specifically with Samsung. [link] [comments] |

Looking for a keyboard with no . (period) button beside spacebar. Posted: 10 Jan 2018 07:43 AM PST I currently use Samsungs default keyboard as I don't mind it, I have tried GBoard as well but they all seem to have that pesky period button beside the spacebar. I use double-tap space for a period so I have no use for it and find myself constantly inputting unnecessary periods into whatever I am typing. If such a keyboard exists, a point in the right direction is appreciated! [link] [comments] |
