    It was running at 90-100 C° when gaming. Now it's between 60-70 C° and never went above 72 C°. I recommend if your laptop is hot.

    Hey guys, as the title states I'm looking to find an affordable laptop that fits my mom's needs. I've built a pc before but my knowledge stops there so I came here for suggestions and guidance.

    The laptop would mostly serve as a file storing machine so no real need for gaming laptops but she likes to play Age of Empires when she has the time. I would like her to have at least 50GB of space so she doesn't have to worry about storage. I would also like to not exceed $350. I've tried looking in best buy, micro center, amazon, etc. but there's too many options and I would like to narrow it down a bit. Ideally, I would really like to get a bang for the buck deal. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    PIXELATED SCREEN. I bought this Lenovo Legion 5 two months ago and I see this after a windows update. I'm not sure if this is a GPU or the screen problem. Please advice.

    I have been thinking about a 13" laptop with about 512 ssd 16gb ram and i7 or ryzen 7 4700u/5700u.

    I need the 2 in 1 feature for my studies so that's a must have.

    Advice and opinion needed

    Hello!

    In this chip shortage I have hunted for laptop for almost a year and recently pulled the trigger on Millenium ML3 with 1660ti which is as far as I know same as XMG Fusion 15. Price at the time of purchase was 800 euro(laptop is still in transit). At time of purchase I was extensively looking at local stores and amazon to get best deal I could but to my bad luck just few days after my purchase the Legion 5 pops up on amazon and is on sale. Now I feel buyers remorse thou I haven't even received ML3 jet. I cant stop to analyze my choice and am concerned did I made right decision.

    Legion 5 is 2021 model with latest Ryzen 5600h and 3060 but costs 1200 euro.

    • Was the deal on ML3 good?
    • Will the 5600h vs 9750h make such a huge difference that it is worth the difference?
    • Is the 3060 is really worth the extra 400 euro?
    • Is the 50% overpay compared to ML3 worth it?
    • Is it just fear of missing out?

    I'm looking for advice and maybe your stories about laptop choice. I just feel that I was searching for laptop for such a long time that now I doubt myself nonmatter what I choose.

    I would use laptop for work and of course playing games which are mix of competitive esports an AAA titles.

    I have 2 questions regarding the laptops above.

    1. My desktop PC is a windows one, gaming one. I dont know if it is a problem to be working with one main windows pc and a secondry ios macbook, are there any problems I should be aware of?

    So, my new school is offering a hp probook 455 g8 with 8 gb of ram and ryzen 3 and 250 gb ssd for about 630 euros. 1. Is this a good deal? 2. I cant find any youtube reviews about this laptop, what gives?

    I also saw for example on another website the HP 15s-eq2740nd with 16 gb of ram and ryzen 7 and 500 gb of ssd for the same price. How do these compare?
