| Xiaomi "TV Manager" app and Kodi: beware Posted: 03 Nov 2019 07:26 PM PST Just a heads-up If you use Kodi with your Mi TV: The TV Manager app cleaner will wipe your Kodi data because it considers it as some sort of Cache. So I avoid using TV Manager and use Ccleaner and other android cleaners instead, allowing me to select which app I want to clean up. Also, within Kodi you can clear plugins cache as well. For example, it's impossible to have Spotify, Snapchat and a couple of chrome tabs open. | Enable HDR on Mi TV 4X 50" inch (125.7cm) with PS4 Posted: 03 Nov 2019 08:30 PM PST Now Mi claims this TV can run 4k UHD content , and I did play a 4k content via YouTube and USB and it did play them smoothly NGL , but when I try to enable HDR via my PS4 it clearly shows "YOUR TV Doesn't Support HDR" , Did some googling and found out you have to enable HDR via playback settings and I really am new to Mi TV's so where exactly is the settings and According to Device info App installed on MiTV it says the resolution is 1920x1080 !! | Redmi 7A Internet connection issues. Posted: 03 Nov 2019 08:29 PM PST Just got a new Redmi 7A, everytime I try to play an online game I get a no signal/lost connection warning every few minutes and and have to restart the game for it to let me do something. The phone doesn't appears to disconnect from the Wifi when this happens. I´ve tried with other phones to see if its the Wifi but it just happens with this one, even being next to the router. Also tried reseting network settings, factory reset, turning off the Wifi assistant, automatic updates but it keeps happening. Anyone knows what should I do? [link] [comments] | ||

Want pretty good speakers (for a phone), nice picture quality, fairly good battery and not much else. However, some users reported receiving another update of around 1 GB and yesterday a website reported that Mi A2 is recieving revised October security update before Android 10 of around 92 mb. Posted: 03 Nov 2019 07:39 PM PST So I recently updated my Redmi 6A to Android Pie and I'm having problems on the Spotify app. Whenever I try to click the three dots beside a song (the option menu), the spotify app will freeze and I have to clear the ram so that the app would reset. Do you guys know how to fix this? Let me know if you also experienced this kind of bug. I checked kilmovil to make sure it could access Canadian networks. I am currently with Koodo Mobile, and according to kilmovil, for 4G, I should be able to the B5 network. However the data is unusably slow, as I often get less than 1kb/s. Is there something I can do to speed up my data, like switch providers? I was really surprised when I started the live and after uploading it, the video was worse than an 6 years old phone could do. I was using the main camera, not the selfie one.
