    About my Samsung's (s10 5g) screen rotation...

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 07:24 AM PDT

There is something that kinda irritates me about the screen rotation of this phone...and this is going to sound very weird. Whenever I am outside(and it is also cold) it seems that my screen kinda "hesitates" to rotate. When I am inside(so in a warmer environment) everything works just fine. I came to this conclusion after weeks and weeks of havind to deal with this whenever I go somewhere outside. Is this even plausibile...that the cold might affect my phone's functionallity?

Samsung, it's time to extend major updates for your phones

    Posted: 29 Oct 2019 02:36 PM PDT

After the announcement of One UI 2.0 everyone's by now found out that the Samsung S8, S8+ and A8 won't be getting the new Android 10 update, because they've already had 2 major updates. Even though these devices can easily withstand another major update without drastically slowing down, Samsung refuses to ship the update OTA because they've already had their 2 updates.

Is this still necessary? Since Samsung had become greater again and the average lifespan of their phones is getting longer as well, why can't they extend the updates as well? The phones can handle it easily, so why not?

    Posted: 29 Oct 2019 11:31 PM PDT

I am just wondering if there is any demand for Samsung Notes to have a black background with white text option?

I would like this option esp with dark mode selected, but I never hear anyone else ask for it...

Questions about S10+ and stuff in general

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 01:05 AM PDT

Hello, I think asking my questions here would be easier even though I've searched the internet already:

I'm using the S10+ Exynos version (it's been 6 months and I absolutely LOVE IT) and I'm wondering if using the medium power saver mode the whole the day normal?

Like I leave the house at 7:30 am and I come back at around 8:00 pm because of Uni and I roughly get 7+ hours of SOT (location, sync disabled and 50/50 between 4G and WiFi). Most of the time I start the day at 85% because I charge my phone the night before to 90% or 100% depending on my schedule and I end the day at 25% most of the time. Lowest was 15% and had like 8hrs and 25 mins. Do ya'll do that? Or is disabling the power saver better to gauge my battery life? I dont know.

Also, I heard charging your phone to 100% all the time is bad, is that true? Lastly do you guys leave apps open? I heard closing them all the time can reduce battery health or something.

I'm sorry if it seems loaded but I need to knowww xD

    Thanks for reading!

Can someone tell me about the Exynos Note10?

    Posted: 30 Oct 2019 04:34 AM PDT

Not the Exynos Note10+, not the Snapdragon Note10+, not the Snapdragon Note10... But the Exynos Note10.

How is the battery life? How is the camera quality? Any previous Pixel users now using one?

Samsung Galaxy S10 too premium for where I work.

    Posted: 29 Oct 2019 10:17 PM PDT

Because of the environment I work in I feel that the Samsung Galaxy S10 is just not the right fit for my day-to-day activities. I work in an Army motorpool, so basically, oil, dust, trip hazards etc, everywhere, I find myself pulling my phone out to check messages frequently, communicating with co-workers and my superiors, which means touching it with dirty hands. I don't want to damage my very expensive phone. Before I get asked; yes it has a case and a screen protector but these can only go so far in the environment I work in. I have been considering purchasing the Samsung Galaxy A50 or maybe even the A20 just to be a daily driver so that I don't have to worry about damaging my Galaxy S10. Just curious about anyone else's thoughts on this matter.

    Thank you.

    Hey,
I'm in final stages before buying the Galaxy Tab A (S Pen version, 2016 model, 10.1") for taking notes in classes (going paperless!), anyone experienced with this specific tablet for writing? I have no interest in games or drawing.
