    [Help] My Grandma has a Galaxy S4 mini GT-I9195 that was remotely wiped.

    There is no back up. The main things she wants back are contacts and photos and she is very upset about losing them.

    I downloaded GT Recovery, entered developer mode and allowed USB bugging and downloaded the Samsung USB driver but when I click 'root' it just restarts the phone.

    Is it possible to recover contacts and photos from the SD card? Or is there another way I can get them off the phone?

    The software starts with 4.2

    I'm in the UK if that makes a difference.

    Hi guys so currently I own an IPhone 7 and have owned iPhones since the IPhone 4S. I am currently considering moving to one of the two Samsung devices in the title of sticking with iPhone. I'm afraid that by me moving to Samsung or any android device for that matter I may find it difficult to use the phone and most of my family have iPhones so there wouldn't be no FaceTime or IMessage(although I could probably use other applications instead). What do you guys think and what's the best way to purchase one of these Samsung phones( i've looked into the Samsung Mobile program).

    Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE only T-mobile?

    I want to pre order the new watch but the website says it's available for T-mobile but doesn't say anything about other carriers. I have Verizon. How do I get a Verizon one if possible?

    Samsung have tried to improve the S9's super slow motion but ended up making it worse

    So my S9 (SM-G960F) received a sizeable update (still 8.0.0 though) and it looks like they've increased the length of the super slow motion from 0.2 to 0.4 seconds (which is great) but it's totally unusable. The automatic mode (with the square) works fine but manual mode (which I find a lot more useful) has now gone and instead you can only film a 1 second (real time) clip and it automatically slows the middle. Am I just doing something wrong or is it just a bug? 😔

    UN55FH6030 tv large vertical line

    Just popped up last night, it's about 3 inches wide and just off center of the screen. You can still see some picture where the line is but alot of black pixels. Comes and goes for a few minutes at a time. What would it be, the main board? Worth fixing. Tv just over 4 years old.

    Anyone else with TMobile really disappointed with the Note 9 promo?

    I have an iPhone 8+ that I absolutely abhor. The only TMobile promotion is for trading in a Samsung phone. Do they not realize the killing they would make if they threw the iPhone folks a bone? At this point, Verizon is looking attractive with their BOGO promo, and I've had it with my hardware ruining my carrier experience.

    [Help]Samsung Internet secret mode bookmarks recover?

    My phone was overheating and draining too much battery, I did a factory reset. I thought Samsung cloud will restore my bookmarks in my secret mode but it didn't, only on the regular tabs. Is there a way to recover secret mode bookmarks?

    Should I get the s9+ ? First samsung ever

    So I've never got a samsung device before, I've had many iPhones and nexus phones before so I like both OS's Now the thing that made me never get a Samsung phone before is lags, obnoxious skin on top of android and no updates From what I can understand from people is that those first 2 problems (lags and samsungs' skin) had been solved But what about the updates? will the S9+ get android pie ? What about the next android Q? I really like the s9+ and it looks like a good phone but the idea that I'll be spending the next 3-4 years without updates makes me think twice every time I think about getting one What do you guys think ?

    Samsung Customer Service vs iPhone (had to vent)

    As much as I love Samsung, they do have horrible customer service. I spent the past 4 hours on the phone with Samsung trying to solve an issue, and there is no solution. I every did a factory reset and my phone is still having issues.

    I do not know what happened to my phone, but around 4:30 pm today it was no longer receiving phone calls or sending them out. When I placed the sim card into my work phone, I could easily send and receive calls. The kicker is that my Note 8 can still send and receive text messages, but for some reason it cannot send or receive phone calls (even after a factory reset). The only solution that is left is to mail my phone in.

    Let me start off by saying that I used to love Samsung. I had the note 5 and then I gladly upgraded to the Note 7 and stuck through the recall. However, when I had a screen issue with the Note 8, I was told that I needed to mail it in for repairs. Samsung expects me to mail in my phone for 11 business days without any replacement.

    Fast forward to right now. I have the current problem that I had explained earlier. The first person was very helpful and understanding. He understood the perplexity of the issue that my phone cannot make or receive phone calls. When the phone is turned off it goes straight to voicemail, but when it is turned on it rings 3 times for the person who is calling, but it doesn't ring on the phone that is being called. I called again after placing the sim card in my other phone and it worked. I called back and this time around, the guy told me that I need to buy a new phone. There was no troubleshooting etc. The last guy helped me the most. He logged into my phone remotely and tried diligently for 2 hours to troubleshoot! After no avail and after a factory reset.... it still doesn't work.

    Long story short, I have to mail my phone in for 11 business days with no replacement. Samsung doesn't know what it wrong with my phone. This really sucks for such a quality product that their quality care is so outdated!

    I just had to vent.

    Note 9 v iPhone X (rly considering Note 9)

    So I have been an Apple user for as long as I have owned Smartphones but seeing all the tech, customization, storage, camera, headphone port, wireless charging, etc I am seriously wanting a phone like this.

    My one thing about iPhone is iMessage... every single person I know uses iMessage bc it's just the best messaging app there is.

    Is anyone else held back or had similar reservation from switching to Samsung because of this?

    Promo Gifts from samsung

    Hey, a few years ago when I got the S7 edge, I was able to get the samsung preorder promo gifts even though I ordered it through T-Mobile. Is that still a thing I can do? I ordered the Note 9 through T-Mobile this year and I was hoping to still get the headphones. Please Help!

    Unanswered question about samsung pay.

    I registered my Visa debit card perfectly (Both the first time and the second time after I tried preregistering the card). As soon as I try and use it at a variety of stores it wont even get to the part I need to insert my pin, it just vibrates and then the various card readers will come up with error messages. Using a samsung galaxy s9 if that's important. Any help would be appreciated.

    [Galaxy S8] How to Disable Autofill and Recently Added in Contacts?

    When I add a new entry it attempts to auto-fill the name based on my existing list. If I have Jenny add her contact info it would be nice if all of the "J" entries didn't pop up when she's typing in her name. Is there a way to disable this?

    Also, is there a way to disable Recently Added? Again, I don't need someone to see the other people I've added.
