| Posted: 16 Aug 2018 02:28 PM PDT So, before we dive into this, I just want you all to realise that i am talking strictly aboit my experience only, I will also try to be as unbiased as possible! I bought the OnePlus Bullets V2 15 days ago now, and when I first bought them, I was super excited to see the potential and audio quality that they possessed. Overall, I was very excited and impressed by the ''bang for my buck" and in terms of audio, I would highly recommend for others. :) Ok, so now for the reason i made this post; the build quality. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't expecting much, but damn, this feels super cheap and within the first 5 days, the cover for my volume rockers dettatched. I didn't expect this, but I thought little of it as the headphones still worked and it wasn't effecting audio quality. Then today, (day 15 with the Bullets V2) the headphone jack completely broke with a little bump and now the headphones are completely dead. :( This may just be a 1 in 100 faulty product and my bad luck of recieving it, but I wanted to ask you guys for your experience with the OnePlus Bullets V2 and whether or not my expectations were too high. | Posted: 16 Aug 2018 05:37 AM PDT Recently got a one plus 6, and kept the stock screen protector on it, but it's started to peel at the bottom. I was just about to order some more from amazon and then did some research about how scratch proof gorilla glass really is. This got me thinking if I really need to put a screen protector on. I don't like the thicker glass ones so only use the plastic film ones anyway to stop keys and coins scratching the screen. What do other people do? Does anyone go naked on it and have you had any scratches etc? [link] [comments] | ||

| Minor Problems with Cached Images showing up on my new OnePlus6 Posted: 16 Aug 2018 08:44 PM PDT When I open my gallery, everything looks ok. All photos are organised as expected and looks great. How ever, when I open my gallery through some app (Lets say whatsapp or instagram), all the cached images show up there. For example, if I've watched a GIF on the reddit app, it turns up. The add images from DuoLingo turn up, etc, etc. This is quite embarrassing since I subscribe to a whole bunch of NSFW subs and stuff. I don't know where to find and delete them and how to stop them from happening. Any ideas? [link] [comments] | ||

Anyone else experiencing this? Also, when pulling my phone out of my pocket, 10% of the time it will say that I had too many attempts to unlock using fingerprint. Kinda annoying. | Losing wifi connection Oneplus 5 Posted: 16 Aug 2018 01:36 PM PDT For the last month roughly I've been losing my wifi connection and am wondering if anyone else has experienced this. During the day when my phone is being actively used wifi is great. However, when I wake up in the morning I have to disconnect from wifi and reconnect to get wifi working again. It seems to lose connectivity around 1 or 2 am as I have the google weather notification and when I wake up it shows a last updated 7 hours ago. When I disconnect from wifi it almost immediately gets updated when LTE kicks in or when I toggle wifi back on. Has anyone else experienced this? | OP5T Thouch input stops responding randomly. Posted: 16 Aug 2018 11:41 AM PDT Hi! After the latest update (2-3 weeks ago?) I have been experiencing a problem with the touch input on my device. The phone and screen is still responsive to volume up/down, and power on/of. It unlocks with both the fingerprint and the face unlock. I have noticed this happens more frequently when I have the phone charging, but not always. It has occured several times in the night, so it's not responding when the alarm goes off. I can still use the buttons on the side, so when this happens I reboot the device with the side button, which after a couple of tries usually solves the problem. This happens every other day or so. It seems to me it should be a software problem, as it just happened again when I was sitting still reading on Reddit. Does anyone else have this problem, is there a fix? I haven't dropped the phone or anything, it just started to happen randomly a couple of weeks back. I'm on the regular OS, not the beta. Thanks! [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 16 Aug 2018 03:14 PM PDT I see there have been some threads about it for other devices in the Community forums but nothing I found specifically on the OP6 yet... I understand there's not much I can really do for it but I'm pretty sad to see such poor display quality with polarized sunglasses in portrait mode. It's not blacked out completely like some have been but it's pretty distorted and the color is just bad overall. Makes driving with it and sunglasses really annoying if you actually need to read anything on the screen (like navigation). It does appear to work normally in landscape and the display is fine then but just crappy in portrait. So now I might need to buy a different mount. I may try to use it in landscape for a bit but I haven't had a phone with this kind of polarization issue in years. Another thing on the list, I guess, of the reasons they can charge what they do. | Posted: 16 Aug 2018 02:10 PM PDT Hello everyone! I'm looking into getting the OP6 or 6T but I'm not really sure if waiting for the 6T is worth it. I currently have the Pixel 2 and although I love the phone I can't live with the battery life (4-5 hours SOT) since I normally am outside of the house for most of the day. I've read that there are people who have the OP6 that hit 7-8 hours SOT. Generally I use my phone for (ranked by most usage)
I really just want a smooth, slick software experience - I hate it when a phone lags - and good battery life. Camera isn't that important to me, just needs to be able to take decent photos obviously... Anyways, I just wanted the community's opinion to see if the OP6T was worth waiting for or if I should just bite and buy the OP6. Thanks everyone! | [Bug] OP6 Very low audio volume over bluetooth speakers Posted: 16 Aug 2018 03:03 AM PDT Hi, Has anyone experienced this issue; when I connect my phone to bluetooth speaker (car audio, to be exact) the volume is super low. This issue isn't constant, however, maximum volume varies for no apparent reason (sometimes it's normal, sometimes low, sometimes it lowers mid tune and then comes back to normal). I tried enabling and disabling "Bluetooth absolute volume" in Earphone mode pref. panel, but I haven't seen any difference or improvement. I am not running into this issue when connected via BT headphones. BT performance in general has been dodgy at best - random connection drops, headphones not recognized as headphones, etc. (all of these things have been tested and used previously with my Note 8, so the problem is not in the peripherals). I feel like a good optional feature could be if the lock button is pressed and held down that the screen turns on but the face unlock won't work. Then you're able to actually see your lock screen.
