I'm using the Samsung Reminder app for this currently, but I'd really like to have my notes editable from my PC via Dropbox. I'd really prefer not to have to install another syncing service on my desktop and laptop. Is there a note editor app with a widget like this that either: -Natively syncs with Dropbox (not a manual backup feature, but ongoing automatic syncing) -OR lets me choose a local file or storage folder (I could try syncing it with Dropsync.) Everything I've tried is missing something. I don't even mind if it can only display and edit one text file. I just want to see and edit it on my phone and have it instantly available on my desktop as plain text. Posted: 02 Nov 2019 01:03 AM PDT I need to record my voice for a digital story but my voice sucks and the background noise makes it worse.Can someone please suggest an android app that would make my voice less fat, more high and more crisp? Or just at the very least, good enough for whoever's listening to not suffer?Also would be nice if it could remove the background noise and if it has a feature to add background music. Also please don't recommend Audacity. I tried recording on it but my voice was only very slightly higher than the background noise which made it really hard to remove it, I also don't like it's layout and I don't have a mic. | App for tracking Trivia competition stats Posted: 02 Nov 2019 11:11 AM PDT I will be hosting a trivia party where 6-8 teams play multiple trivia board games. I would like an app that I can have open on my phone that I can click for every correct or incorrect answer for each team. Ideally I could save after each game and see game based and overall stats. Tracking longest correct or incorrect streaks would be cool. Keeping track of game results would also be a plus. Option two is something web based but a computer just takes up more table space. And yes, I could keep track by hand and use Excell to compile the results. Any recommendations would be great, thanks! [link] [comments] |

| Posted: 02 Nov 2019 08:11 AM PDT I posted this review after contacting the Dev twice via email and noticing other people contacting him of the same issue. He always pushes it off as Samsung's fault when other apps like Spotify or GAAssistNet (Google Assistant App in Beta) work just fine when connected to WiFi or Mobile Data via the watch and not BT towards your phone (remotely connected to your phone in other words). I try to be fair towards Devs and I tried to give him a chance to fix the issues because I love PulseSMS but this is a huge flaw. I feel like he is being dismissive and aggressive towards what, I assume (probably wrongly so) is a minor issue and an easy fix. | Stop being told WiFi will turn off, when turning on hotspot? Posted: 02 Nov 2019 07:19 AM PDT Since the last update, every time I toggle on my hotspot, I get a notification at the bottom of my screen, telling me that in order to turn on my hotspot, I will have to turn WiFi off, and can the phone have permission to do that. I never used to have this notification come up, it would just turn the WiFi off automatically when the hotspot got turned on, and I could get on with whatever I was doing, without having to agree to turning the WiFi off. Does anyone know if it is possible to go back to not having to dismiss this notification every time I turn on my hotspot, or if I'm going to be stuck with it forever? | Titanium Backup doesn't restore all apps backed-up Posted: 02 Nov 2019 06:58 AM PDT Hello, This is a first for me but hopefully someone's done-did the struggle and came out the other side. tldr: Installed Rom on clean slate. Installed Magiski. When restoring apps some get through the process but others "bricks" TB and nothing continues, TB is showing that backup (app or app+data) is being restored and loops with no success. I left it over night and nothing changed so that can't be a slow-restore-needs-time issue. a Bit more in-depth: Upgraded my LG G6 from a29v to a30v with the help of Orange recovery. Wiped everything, installed Rom, booted system, went through Google installation wizard, restored everything except apps. Downloaded TB Pro. Started to restore apps and then it stopped on one. Killed app, tried again on other apps and.. again - loops/bricks. So on some apps it goes through tho which is confusing. When googling the problem it shows up 2 year old discussions that suggest updating SU binary through SuperSu but Magiski is up to date so should be the binaries imo. Even tried installing SSU and deleted Magiski - that resulted in system bootloop. I tried changing "App processing mode" but that does nothing. Only way is to install the app manually through Play store and restoring data but there has got to be a different way. As some apps come through completely with out a hiccup I believe that initial backups are not corrupted. And I've been placing new roms for a whiiiile on many of my devices with the help of TBPro but never has this happened. [link] [comments] |

My requirements are: - autosave, so if I accidentaly clear the app from recents the notes will be saved - dark mode - saving notes in txt format in accessible storage Currently I am using Notepad which was removed from the Play Store several years ago, but it is the only app that satisfied me - it's no longer developed and it looks old, I'd like to find a more fresh replacement.
