Haven't changed my usage patterns at all and I'm doing the same things as before but the device now starts to heat up and it's affecting the battery life. | Posted: 05 Jun 2021 07:15 AM PDT I am interested in getting a mid-range tablet, primarily for sketching/drawing and thought a Samsung tablet with the pen would suit. The only tablet I have at the moment is a 7" Kindle Fire, so I am not very knowledgeable about tablets. I was looking at the S6 Lite on which there is an offer from Samsung at the moment where I can buy it for €399 and get €75 cash-back. However I was also looking at the newer range of Samsung tablets. So I am not interested in the really expensive ones, but is the S7 FE the replacement for the S6 Lite? Or is there a separate S7 Lite expected to release soon? The S7 FE is significantly more expensive than the S6 Lite. If Samsung are not releasing any other new mid-range tablets this year, I would just get the S6 Lite I think. The only other tablet I am aware of with a good pen is the iPad and I don't really want one of them. Thanks [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 05 Jun 2021 03:25 AM PDT Hey guys, I have a Huawei Matepad Pro and a Macbook Pro and I was wondering what kind of utilities I have to link these together, it's been a long time since I tried anything like this and used AirDroid. I am mainly looking for easy ways to share files seamlessly, and to be able to reply to apps like WhatsApp on my phone (I know there's the Web client). Huawei has this screen mirroring with the Mate phones where you can display your phones screen as a little popup window on the tablet. I think DeX does this too, but is there anything similar I can use to link the two? Any other integrationm/sync applications and systems you guys know of or can think of though I'm interested in. I want to as tightly as possible interconnect these devices. edit: if it makes any difference I have a Samsung S20 FE and a Huawei MatePad Pro 10.8 (not the 5G one, nor the sequel which came out this week). Posted: 05 Jun 2021 02:05 AM PDT Hello all, I'm looking at buying the new S21 5G as a birthday present for myself, and I currently have an S9 with minimal wear (the paint near the fingerprint scanner has smudged off) but no other defects. The trade in value seems just way to good to be true and I'm wondering what the catch is. I'm not necessarily super broke but I'd rather have a large discount if I can get one. So far all my Google searches have been either Samsung websites explaining it which just seems biased without fine print and small tech blogs. | Samsung Active never goes into DND. Posted: 04 Jun 2021 08:55 PM PDT I switched from IPhone to ultra 21 with the Active watch. I like everything except one thing. My phone is set to DND from 10-7. My watch is the same Every single night at midnight the watch makes it's noise and notifies me of all the tasks that I have on my calendar for that day. Every night. I don't want to turn off the calendar notifications as they are insanely important during my work day but not at midnight. I've tried turning in theater mode as well on the watch and it still notifies me. How do I make it stop??? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 04 Jun 2021 08:18 PM PDT I was trying to find a customer support number for my Samsung account because I'm having some login issues, I found & called this number 18557950509 and they spoke to me, asked for what might be important/sensitive information like a serial number of a device, etc. and said I would get a call back. I just wanted to see if anyone can verify whether that number is genuinely Samsung support or not. Not to be offensive to anyone, but the accents of the two operators were a little sketchy. Not American accents and since it is supposed to be a US support number I got a little paranoid. Maybe I've just been watching too many scam-exposing videos on YouTube but it never hurts to be sure I guess. [link] [comments]  | ||
