BSOD after Sims 4 Update (Win7Ult64Bit) Posted: 02 Feb 2019 11:23 AM PST So my fiancee's son wanted to play The Sims 4, so I started origin and the game proceeded to update. After the update, the game launches and during character customisation crashed to a blue screen. I've been playing games, mostly overwatch, for ages on this machine without problems. Now, after about ten minutes of playing anything it blue screens. I've tried a system restore to a few days ago before the game was updated to no avail. I tried the system recovery tools in the boot up sequence and it blue screened while attempting to recover/repair the hard disk. What do I do? Edit: [link] [comments] | ||

Microphone stopped working for no apparent reason Posted: 02 Feb 2019 07:32 AM PST Microphone does not work, I have checked what seems to be every possible way to fix it. All details below. Microphone (amazon link however the descriptions are with the other screenshots if you don't want to go to the amazon page) I'm completely lost on this situation. It was working fine maybe Monday, I haven't been on my computer much at all, I come back at it isn't working. There was also a new Windows Update that I did today but it didn't change anything. I verified the integrity of my files using command prompt SFC/SCANNOW and nothing. Any help would be very much appreciated. Is there something I'm just missing here? Let me know if you need any additional info. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
